When open beta phase start



I kindly ask of anybody that has an extra beta key , and is so kind to share it with fellow community member



to think of little ol' me





And perhaps share his extra key to me

    First off, open beta invites will be given to anyone who bought the pre-release of Vanguard (me). Secondly, even if somone had a key, why would they give it away?... Vanguard is in closed beta.

    "Sir, the fish market is quickly emptying. I need you to out, get me 5 tuna, 4 blue snappers, 3, uh, Darkshore groupers, and 2 goldfish please. And then report to the docks. I'll see you there, goodbye."

    There are three ways to get the Open Beta Key (Aside from just asking someone who has it):



    1. Register At the Vanguard forums and hope you are the lucky one who gets picked.

    2. Be a paying subscriber at Fileplanet.

    3.Pre-Order the Game and get the pre-order box.

    I know one thing that I'm happy that I pre-order my copy  I know its not going to be that much fun durning the open beta because it will be nothing more than a stress test for there sever.  One last thing I can't wait for the game to come out

    Just go subscribe to Fileplanet for one month for $6.95, signup for the open BETA  and downlaod the client from Fileplanet. When open beta begins you will recieve a beta key.

    Cheap and Easy.

    I am trying to subscribe to Vanguard forums.

    But they are not sending activation email.  Is it a bug or intentional decision ... hard to tell.

    As for Fileplanet. Yes i am member. But free member.

    I am not paying subscription just to get into open beta that will last for one or two weeks.

    I rather preorder Vanguard.

     

    But you know.

    I have a strict policy of NEVER PREORDERING GAMES THAT ARE IN NDA

    And i would sencerely advise this to everyone. We all got burned to often , especially with MMOs.

    Never the less , i belive Vanguard will be a great game. But i will not jump in blindly.

    So i would really like to try it

    Yes, I tried also to register to the official forum, but I also haven't received an authentification mail since then. It seems as if it would be a bug. The other day I checked if I had just written my email-adress wrong, but the system wrote me that my email adress was already registered. So I wrote an Email to the Sigil Moderator and I hope they can help me in the next 3-4 weeks.  :)



    I really hope that I will find a new home with Vanguard - I was tired of the dull WoW experience and this is the only interesting MMORPG for the next half year.

    I hate it if betas are avail for paying assholes on fileplanet.



    And now that is see that SWG-Killer SOE takes part of it, it suxx definitly

    I found statements like this to be completely ignorant. 

    1.  SOE is only doing the publishing.

    2.  SOE was not solely responsible for SWG, lay a good portion of that blame on Lucas Arts.

    The fileplanet things is a valid argument IMO

    Why? Because you are to cheap to pay? Or is it because you think that FP should give it all away? Or is it that you are to lazy to invest the time in the vanguard forums coming with usable critique such that they might pick you for a beta?



    Statements like that make me wonder if the time you used writing it couldn't be better used

    a agree with thallish. if you were a part of the community for awhile good chance you are in. if you preordered the game, you are in. if you are a member of fileplanet you are in.

    some clown that sees 'beta' and jumps up screamin oh random free game i want in, doesn't really deserve it

    Excuse me, but how can we call this an open beta if you have to be selected to get in? Isn't that a closed beta?

    Fileplanet is supposed to give all members beta, just giving subscribers first chance at the client.

    Oh puhlease, if you have to ask - I really advice you to be careful.

    MMO world consists of 99% failures and only 1% of good releases.

    Ranging from just bad like DDO , to plain highway robbery like D&L

     

    You pay to test a game that is in NDA , basically knowing nothing about it , just what the developers serve you.

    You are buying a pretty stinky cat in the sack.

     

    And if you dont belive me. Go try - experience is far better teacher.
