What has Dreamfall to do with MMO's? Or is this article more about Funcom? Just curious. I consider mmorpg.com to be my number one info source on "everything MMO" and I love their focus on just this genre. I have other sites where I keep track of single player RPG's and I hope mmorpg.com does not water down itself by also starting to report about SP games.
btw. Ragnar Tournquist (he made both games) said that there is a possibility that funcoms next mmo after Age of Conan can be The longest Journey mmo.. @__@ I soo hope he was right and they will make it.
this might be a nice news for a gaming website.
Not for mmorpg.com
anyways, nice

Now if some freakishly wild set of events were to somehow lead to there being a Funcom developed MMO set in the Longest Journey universe... well *then* you should absolutely post that here
You guys are slipping, stay on topic, I'd hate to see the new mmorpg.com lose the scope of what it tried to accomplish all these years. That can only lead to a down fall.
looks like funcom did pay enough, there are nice AO ads, after all.
I'm Here. I'm Awesome. Get Used To It.
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about Dreamfall. The game has a good story at it's core, and was sort of fun to play, but it moved painfully slow. Of course the worst part was the ending (I won't be specific), and how it just left me wondering when the next one would come out. (not in a good way.) I think the game is one with a ton of potential that, sadly, only a fraction of which will be realized.
There are MMORPGs out there who aren't even being allowed to list on MMORPG.com yet this singleplayer game get's a front page news article just because it's Funcom.
That's just lame guys.
Whilst I consider just as strange that this news be here at mmorpg.com, although funcom is in the mmorpg industry, I think it's terrific news.
Dreamfall was one of the best games of 2006 IMHO and hopefully this will allow it to be discovered by a few more gamers out there. I would suggest it for anyone that is looking for something to take a break from all the cookie cutter slash and trash games out there right now.

I agree with others here that this is the last place I would except to see a game like this showing up, but I'm getting used to it, since there are several other games listed as a MMOG when they truly aren't.
I did give this trial a try tho and it didn't work. Anyone else have problems with the trial?
