My first impression is ofcourse the gfx and sound which seem to be top notch even though AC 2 terrain looked better. The sound is pretty nice too. However...
I planned to play a Human Mage but then I found out that all the Human face models look like teenage kids. No aging bearded Gandalf look or even a more adult wornout Aragon look. All the models have plain femenine faces resembling kids... well that sucked so I choose a Orc warrior and they look really impressive. Mean and muscular behemots, very nice.
Later I decided that I really didnt like the melee type so I tried a Male Dark Elf Mage. They too look a bit femenine but since they are elves that is to be expected. The model is pretty neat but I dont understand why they run bowed down like that, look a bit silly and it would be fun to be able to choose a more mature elven look.
Anyway the leveling to 5-6 was fairly quick then it started to turn into a grind and it took me 3-4 minutes to regen from zero to 140ish mana. Kinda frustrating so I hope it gets better later on. And that is as far as Ive come since I got kicked out and now it wont let me back on the server.
Probably because of the high server population. Think I will wait for the new server to come up hopefully tomorow. But to sum it up the game seem to be fairly impressive only thing I dont like is that it seems to target the young teenage kids audience as can be seen by the character models.
Btw does anyone know if you will be able to buy the game over the net or do you have to have an actual box?

Regen for hp and mana scale up as you level along with damage output in relation to mp cost for skills. I noticed I had a fair bit of downtime from levels 8 to 10 but then my down time decreased a lot. Obviously the equipment you have has a big impact this as well.
One tip that might help is to try to keep your hp and mana bars equal. If your running out of mana but full health most of the time, try to do a little melee rather then a finnishing spell each fight.

The word you're looking for is Bishonen. Even the Orcs' faces are as you described the rest. Only the Dwarf have a differing appearence. ...Though the Female Dwarfs are way too Chibi too.
There's no real variety in the characters so what's the point of having high level model-graphics? Aside from a few haristyles, everyone still runs around looking the same.
I deleted my game and will wait till I have a much better computer and beta is done.
The game seems like a potential winner in the mmorpg world, but the user interface seems unusual. I am sure it will eventually be an awesome experience though.
Don't ya eat the yellow snow!
Been playing an orc mage... never know what to go for its annoying. Like my orc could use a variety of weapon types and spells so I never know what to pick
I also dont like how you cant have spaces in names. But it seems kind of fun, downtime was bad early on but seems to be getting a bit better but maybe thats because I'm a level 11 fighting level 8's.
Interface is very limited and perculiar to me.
Characters all look the same almost. As the topic poster said, yeah the dark elves walk look silly, and most of the characters look too young for my liking. I mostly picked a female orc mage because they were the only characters that I liked the look of

Been playing for 3 days so far. 1st 2 days were annoying cuz the servers were always jammed but now with the 2 new servers it's great. Graphics are top notch for an MMORPG but very power hungry. You need a top notch system to experience everything smoothly with all the eye candy turned on. Sound effects are good and abundant. Combat has a nice pace to it. Not incredibly slow like FFXI. Quite a few quests to do so far and lots of story to read. The female models are sexy as hell and I like the way Dark Elves run, anime style . Have yet to try PvP. Looks like they did a good job with this game. World of Warcraft...move aside .
p.s. I also like the way you can use the mouse scroll to scroll the windows in the game. Other mmorpgs I played didn't have this feature.
