Well, I am on my brothers computer and I need something relatively small that he wont find or get pissed about.
Tried Flyff, pretty cool. Never tried Rappelz but unlike most I like the more classic fantasy approach.
But, it all comes down to which is more rewarding in less time, due to my busy high school career.
Please help!

Rappelz isn't small, it's about 2.2GB. It much more traditional fantasy than Flyff however. As for which will anger your brother more I can't say.
Getting stuff done can be somewhat difficult in Rappelz because of the many people that are crammed onto 2 servers(one PvE, one PvP). I was regularly fighting for spawns to kill to finish quests.
If the choices are strictly between Flyff and Rappelz I would definately choose Rappelz.
And, if you prefer a free game to the both of them, please tell me!
Besides AO, played the crap outta that...
The Rappelz open beta started like a month ago so there is probably going to be more added to the high levels. The only thing about the game that "feels" beta is the NPC text. When you talk to an NPC it's in a box at the top of the screen but the wording is quite big so there a lot of words cut off then continued on the next line or next page. Also, some glitching for some puncuation marks too.
For me personally, the MMO that I have played recently that is 100% free that I enjoyed the most is Silkroad Online. It's not too big(the client download is only 500MB, forget how big the patch is though), it's traditional fantasy(Chinese fantasy) and it is grind-a-rific but there is a good amount of quests.
personal i think flyff is beta seems like rappelz is new and its quite hard to lvl up and u need to keep doing quests to get ur lvl up higher.... or u can do like 5 hour grind with killing no stop monsters to get ur lvl up... but i think if u like games like rappelz and flyff u should really try some of the chinese fantasy games they got really good story lines to them, im trying to find one myself but when i do i mite get back to ya
