Well, just returned to UO after 5 yrs. So far.........I like it.

I quit soon after trammel was introduced and complained for 5 yrs how UO sucked now and how I was waiting for the next UO, blah blah blah. 

Well, so far I dont mind all the changes.  The community is great, within a week i found a great guild, joined the oldest player run town on the server and they put me in charge of a Blessed Building to run as a tavern.  Its has over 20000 visits and was established in 1998 !!

Plenty of new content, some bad, some good.   I choose to live in felucca and placed the old style houses.  Ran into tons of people and talked about old times.   Everyone has been super nice and helpful.  Giving me advice to catch up and equipment to compete.  Everytime i've been player killed in Felucca the Red have rezzed me and then we traded ICQ numbers to keep in touch. 

I don't know what else to say, I'm acutally having a good time again.  None of the newer MMOPRGS have given me this much enjoyment lately.  So i stopped playing all of them and returned to UO in full force.   Here is the address to my player run city, i held an event already with people gathering and even held a dart board contest with prizes lol.

Look, alot has changed, some good and some bad, but all in all the game is still fun and has alot to offer if you look for it.  You dont like the Neon or custom housing?  Wear what you like, place the house you want, live in the lands you want. 

If your sick of the new crap games, its a good time to return to UO.  The new graphics engine they have coming looks great , kind of like Diablo 2.  I'm enjoying it again.
