in Pirates of the Burning Sea

Greetings,

Just the other day my brother got accepted to partake in the beta testing of Pirates of the Burning Sea.

And I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect? I've played WoW for over two years and I'd like to know how PotBS compares to WoW in this stage.

    I don't believe in any such ridiculous claims.  12yro l33t sp34k kiddies are everywhere, and new ones are made every day.  It is impossible to rid the world of these beasts.

    There is a way....ban anyone that uses numbers in sentances, that way it'll catch 90%...eg, Thanks m8, Thats 4 u...etc etc..

    Of course it will catch the kids that can't write english anymore and only text speak but hey, thats life :P

    Hello... I am from Russia and want to know something about 50 beta accounts...If i have some chance to win one of them, how can i recive beta version? Maybe i have choose wrong topic... if its true , plz give me adress for right...( sorry if i've done some mistakes)

    How exactly did he break the NDA?  Unless Im wrong, I didnt think it was against the NDA to let people know you were accepted to Beta test......

    I think the point is, that his brother is got accepted to beta, and the original poster is saying that he's playing it...



    The guy  that got accepted to beta broke the NDA by letting his brother play it.



    Course I honestly don't think dem at Flying Labs would care to much...



    Not like his brother sold it to him or anything, course... I would try to sell it to my brother, at least at first

    Hehe, actually it is against the NDA to let people know you were accepted to Beta test, but since nobody knows who his brother is, it's pretty harmless.

    Well personally i think POTBS is going to be 10x times greater then WoW.  Yes at one time i actually did play WoW and i really at the time thought i enjoyed it.  Eventually my friend made me realize how aweful World of Warcraft really is.  WoW is taking over the MMORPG world and is really growing way to big.  I also hate the fact that like 95% of the MMORPGs out there are fantasy based games.  It really just gets way to repetitive.  Thats why some of my favorite MMORPGs are games such as Anarchy Online, Eve Online, WWII online and Aces High (more of a MMO WWII flight sim).  This is one reason why i think POTBS is just going to own.  Its more of a historic game, and it has tons of PVP, which is a must for me.  I'm positive this is going to be a great game, and hopefully it gets the support it needs once it is launched.
