Even if I would accept the label of a WoW-hater, althought I don't focus on hating the game or arguing at all, it is pointless.  There is a crazy phenomen going on.

 

EBgames are trying to open at MIDNIGHT on BC release date, they have 300 pre-orders and they want to get that done before the day start.  That is unquestionnably noteworthy, no matter if they open or not at midnight, some peoples in there want to.

 

Haha, I feel sorry for all the peoples stucks into a raiding-system that they will grow to hate and dislike as it is enforced further upon them.  Still, 300 pre-orders for a corner store shop...that is a LOT.  Yet, it is not that much, considering that MOST players will pre-order it.  Don't expect them to sell many expansions 1 month after release, it will all be at start, just like it always was for EQ, just amplified.

 

WoW also drop under the $20 price.

 

EDIT: When I ask him if he plan on opening at midnight later that month, he ask me why should they?

    No B.C. for me.  They (Blizzard) waited too long. 

    WOW came out in 2004.  It's 2007 and the first expansion has yet been released.

    Off to Vanguard for me.

    I'm really curious to see what percentage of WoW players are going to go with TBC. I know a few stores that have a huge amount of pre-orders coming in and will be open until midnight.

    I don't think we've quite seen anything like this in MMO history. I hope it turns out well for fans of the game.

    the midnight selling might be an nice way to avoid server crashing

     the hardcore gamers will start at 1am

    and the casualls will come later

    -easier to handle for the login servers



    still maybe more people will come back then go

    and the servers will crash anyway

    well im really curious

    i guess if i see my neightbours after school, i will know they

    didnt make it

    You'll have to forgive Keridwan Testul, it seems it has nothing better to do at this point then to follow me around on these boards under multiple accounts, throwing childish insults around.

    I appologize to the OP for someone trying to hijack the thread because of me. Hopefully the mods wake up at some point and do something about it.
