Here are my many reasons why:
1. They both use gold as currency.
2. They both have trolls AND orcs. WoW totally invented that!
3. You level-up in both games.
4. There are quests.
5. You fight things.
6. There are swords, bows, and other weapons that were totally made up for WoW!
7. You use the keyboard to control the game.
8. It's a whole internet game world, where you can do things...
9. Experience points? Come on, they're in both games??!?!
10. Did I mention WoW invented elves???

People don't actually READ threads. I mean, that would mean reading more than one post before hitting the reply button! Who does that? Sheesh. In fact, reading more than half of the first post of a thread before replying is probably a bad idea. I heard that reading too much can KILL you. Those folks are just protecting their health, and if you don't have your health, what do you have?
