Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a open beta soon.

Nothing of intrest in the chat log that wasn't know before, exept for the open beta of course, ppl where saying there wasn't going to be one. I knew there was, but needed a link for ya all.

    Im participating in the stress-test on saturday (unless GF keeps me in prison......)


    I played asherons call 99-01 (awesome game, love turbine)

    I tried out DDO again after their improvements, and I have to say im really impressed after reading all the crap people say about that game. Its really well done and enjoyable imho.


    Anyways, see you all who got in on saturday!

    Actually, for people in the EU, you can go to www.fileplanet.com and they have a link at the top of their page both to sign up for the beta and to download the client.  It's going to be hosted by Codemasters (as most MMOs in the EU seem to be).  As for the US, I believe you can still sign up for the beta at www.lotro.com and I'm not sure if the client is the same or not.  It is also likely that sites like fileplanet will be some of the first to offer entrance into the open beta.

    Definitely 2 different versions of the client between the U.S. and codemasters.  If you happen to get the fileplanet download fromcodemasters, you will still not be able to log into the u.s. servers.  The same goes for launch.  Want to play with the Europeans, buy the codemasters box version.  Geographic location is not restricted, just which box you buy.
