style turn based mmorpg

I'm looking for a turn based mmorpg  bit like the final fantacy. I know lost of ppl dont like them but i do. If you could suggest some  game preferable with a free trial or some thing like that.

    Mythwar Online has final fantasy-like gameplay and is free, but i dont think you'll b happy with it, it doesn't have a very good storyline.

    If you want to spend a few hours looking around, I'm sure someone can tell you how to get in on TS Online.



    A FF-styled game if I've ever seen one.

    i played Mythwar Online  did not like it at all they dont have to be free i will pay to play if its good that is.

    I have to look in to TS Online see whats its all about.

    Theres also toontown online, but its even worse than mythwar.

    Looks like its a poor do it me. Woulder why there is no good turn based rpg well not online ones.

    Most off the free one are crap i tryed them.

    I dont really want to be playing solo rgp no more i have moved on from that. G&H looks ok.

    Oh well whats a lad ment to do make one him self lol

    The one i see you can play with good graphics and much teaming are Guild Wars and Dongeon&Dragon. It come boring, but oh well most of mmorpg are now and are like movie. Good effect but no context.

    Dofus or Wonderland is a good mmorpg, wonderland is bad graphics, Dofus is really fun, small download, easy to play, absolutely no hackers, and not very laggy. BUT its bad if u dont p2p..

    Harry, your best bet would be Dofus, like a fellow poster mentioned above. They are also creating a new mmorpg, called Wakfu, you might want to take a look into that.

    Hmm, looking for turn-based mmorpg? Look into Atlantica Online. It's in CB right now, but not for too much longer. I'm in it and it's really good.

    Dofus is decent, although I stopped at around lvl 50 because the next spell for my ranger class was at 90 or something.

    However it is turn based mmo, but not the sci-fi type. It's more fantasy based, but there aren't any trolls or elves. Just weird creations that give the game its own unique persona.

    It has a crafting system, that is decent, although some professions aren't very useful.

    Give it a try, or wait for the sequel Wakfu, the release date is unknown atm.

    oh i agree with talemire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! definitely one of the most exciting games, although not yet released.. atlantica online will be in open beta this sept 24! so cmon guys, let's start  this together! ! definitely worth it

    You should check out Altis Gate. Free, turn based browser game alot like FF.

    Neither of those or even Dofus doesn't give me what I'm looking for. I want a Final Fantasy kind of mmorg where you start with multiple charaters.. you create those by yourself and there must be a pvp. Each charater must be equipable and I would like to see more than 4 or 5 charater classes with wide range of skills, spells etc. Game should be turnbased.

     

    If someone knows a mmorpg game where you create multiple charaters instead of one, then let me know

    I may sound bit more rude than I mean to sound. It's 'cos don't speak perfect english. So I may make some mistakes

    Atlantica uses the same kind of combat mechanics as the original FF games.

    Thanks. I did check that game from youtube and I found somethings i just don't like.

    - I wanted a game where you create your group at the beginning..

    - because: hiring mercenaries in my group sounds almost like cathcing monsters for battle, this sounds like it's not for me

    - too high graphics.. my computer does not run games of this size (I prefer cartoon kind of games)

     

    but plusses were:

    + when hiring mercenaries I can affect their appearance

    + turn based and you control multiple charaters

     

    Some questions:

    Can I equip my mercenaries in Atlantica?

    And can mercenary be as good as main charater? I hate when there is one above all.

    If I remember correctly (not sure if was mentioned) but

    Sword Of The New World let's you do that.

    If I remember it's a Pirate based game but you create a family 3 I believe 3 or for characters that fight with you(it's been awhile since i played though.
