360 chatbox size

Hi all!

I recently got FFXI for my 360 after playing on my pc for some time. I have but one concern: the chatbox, menus etc are all really big (or low resolution). when my chatbox is filled with 8 rows it almost covers half my screen. I dunno if the pictures in the manual are from the 360 or pc, but the chatbox is much smaller in those.

Could it be because of my TV? I play on a regular 32" CRT Widescreen TV (will buy a HDTV after I move in early feb). Do I need a HDTV so it can run in higher resolution or something like that?

When I start up the game, after pressing OK on the "please dont forgot your RL" box the screen turns black and there is a small loading symbol in the bottom right corner. After a little while that symbol gets much bigger, like its "adjusting" or something. and from that on, all menus are really huge/low res.

Anyone ever had the same experience? can you change this yourself somehow? Ive been looking through the manual, in-game settings etc but ended up with nada.

{Please assist}

    I'm not to sure what to do about that since i only played on Ps2  but, if you go into the ingame options you can change the amount of lines that are in the chatbox. But yeah the pictures on the book i think are from the PC version.

    Ive also noticed I cant find any uninstall option for the game. Not that I want to unistall it, but still.

    I got the advide from another forum to just reboot the xbox with the FFXI disc in it but it just start up PoL right away. One can only assume that there might be some kinda options in the same meny...if I ever figure out how to reach it :)

    Should you ever find yourself needing to uninstall the game, just start the game, then log out, but don't leave the POL menu program.  You should be at the part where you select your login for POL.  There should be an option there to uninstall the game.

    Kind of wish there was a mire direct way to take that program off, but oh well.  It's not a big deal to me since I haven't given up on the game yet.
