http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/754/754578p1.html While I wish it was more on the march timeline.. i'll still be playing regardless I have enough fun right now and its the only mmorpg that currently catches my intrest. Who else plans to play on live?
Sweet i cant wait to pick up my 2 Ce edtions for me and my wife strangly enough i have 2 kids that dont really game much that i would like to play also insta group anytime you want is great lol but i couldnt even get them to try WOW for very long
They must be crazy. I really hoped this would not be another lukewarm finish-it-on-the-fly MMO like so many others. But, rushing games seems to be fashion. ALL I played recently was rushed too, NWN2, Gothic 3... the old SWG took half a year to be in a somewhat finished state. Why dont they learn? One of the major reasons WOW got so many subscribers was its finished state. I am just too old to believe in miracles.

i have mixed feelings about this, im sure it will be my game, but... its tooo earlie to release, but then again, i heard a little bird saying sigil need money, so i guess its kinda ok
I have mixed feelings too . As it is I feel it will just make people mad, but I am sure they are working as hard as possible on the issues to get it up to speed. It looks great on my pc and has good potential for fun!
They have had at least one patch per day since 'Open Beta' (01/04/07). An incredible amount of things have been added/improved/fixed. There are many focused tests going on at the moment with help of the players.
As a long time Closed Beta Player i have to say that i am more than impressed what Sigil has been able to do in the last few days. The game is taking leaps forward with every new patch. If this continues i can definately see the game ready end of the month.
Performance and stability is getting better aswell and after removal of the Beta code and packaging of the Client (right now it is an unpacked UT2.5 developer version we are testing with) we will get another significant boost in performance.
I am very optimistic right now.

I'm an ex EQ addict, and I have recently been following Vanguard again. I am wondering how it stacks up in terms of gameplay. I know everyone is crying about the way people walk and stuff, but that doesn't really matter to me as much as depth of quests, and amount of quests. I love grouping, and am a bit nervous about Vanguard because I have been hearing a lot of people say its tough to find groups, but I know that it's beta so the population is a lot smaller than it will likely be.
All in all I am definitely going to try this one once I've gotten a new computer.
