Is the game as dead as the forums?

Wow, no new posts for over a week now! The official forums are almost as dead as these are. Is the game as dead as the forums are? I know there has never been a large player base but is it down to almost nothing now days?

    There were about 7 of us online in the main roman town all evening yesterday.  Four months ago you would have seen 47.  If RBL can get the new lands buildable, animals working, and some badly needed new content for the fighters, and do all this within a month or two, I have hopes the game will be revived.  Otherwise, it's looking grim.

    if the game was as active as the boards there would be 200-300 ppl playing :)

    The boards obviously work better, offer better rewards or function better as a community area.

    No, the forums right now mostly act as a conduit from which a bunch of players with low self esteem can gain tremendous self importance.

    I am one of the first players of this game. Actually from beta testing.But i am not playing it any more because i am bored...

    I played for a bit upon public launch.  I stopped after about a month of trying to enjoy something that I had been feverishly anticipating.  Alas, I left for greener pastures.  I tried logging back on about a month ago but the client indicated a patch was required to be able to update or log on.  I've been searching for said patch, to no avail.  So now I can't even update or log on.  Oh well.  I wish them all the best with their project, I may check back in a few months time.

    You will have to download a new version of the game client. Its in the File area.

    I bought it a while back and cant even log on, so its dead for me . I think its just some kind of a ripoff.

    You need to download the new "patcher", install it, and then let it run.  There have recently been some login problems introduced by a patch late last year but the patch last weekend seems to have all but eliminated the problems - I think.

    There will be a client side update, hopefully by the end of the weekend, that will fix most if not all the login issues so keep looking out for it.

    The new patch has brought in animals and such, and solved most peoples login-issues. Which was about time...

    Oh and btw, as a non-participant you only see public fora and the Participant Discussion. You miss the interesting topics 'Community&Events', 'The baths', 'The Sacred Grove' and 'Bugs&Balance'(most active subforum :P ).
