So i've found this one on the official forum it's an external poll on what class you will play.

I for one will go with the ranger

    Depends on what you want in a class, tell me that and i might be able to give you a tip :)

    I'm a caster too often so i'm probably gonna change my pace up and be some sort of soldier. Likely a Conquerer or Guardian...

    and i'm probably gonna be a Master because I want an NPC slave

    Waylarer for SURE. I love stunning, I love dots, and most of all I LOVE crossbows.



    I use crossbows in every mmo I can, and have a book on them at my house.





    This is why i'm so excited for this game! This class suits my playstyle perfectly.

    Well I would want to be able to do somewhat good damage, being upclose is nice but it is always nice to be far away too. I like staying out of range but I like going up close and start nailing things for a lil adrenaline boost. Hope that was enough... and could somebody post the score cause i ddint vote and I cant see the results.

    Scion of Set sounds cool.  No other game i can think of where you can turn into a snake.  Plus I like hybrid classes and shapeshifting.  I was disappointed when i found out bear shamans wont actually turn into bears but i still might try it.

    Halberdier for sure! Only Lineage 2 offered a polearm class that can hit in a cone radius and I absolutely loved that! AoE Melee all the way!

    I'm going for a Defiler, seems to fit my game style to 120% or maybe a Lotus Master or a Necromancer, all of em looks really intresting...

    www.ageofconan.com | great site, probably the greatest site of information at the moment. If u check if out I'm sure u will find it, it's under the tab: Community Portal and after that u should be able find the list over classes.

    I can't wait for this game, It's literally driving me crazy how awesome the PvP is going to be this.

    Definitely something in the mage class for starters. I'm thinkin' Necrcomancer.  Then, Hhhhhmm....too many to choose from.

    I'll probably wind up playing all of them (to various degrees) at least once though.

    So you wanted to lay that Master Thief or Defiler class eh? Think again.



    Summary of the changes to classes:



    * Guardian and Halberdier have been merged, class name is Guardian.

    * Barbarian, Reaver and Master Thief merged, class name is Barbarian.

    * Conquer and Liberator merged, class name is Conqueror.

    * Zealot and Dark Templar merged, class name is Dark Templar.

    * Defiler and Lotus Master merged, class name is now Assassin.

    * Ranger and Waylayer merged, class name is Ranger.

    * Stormcaller and Druid merged, class name is Druid of the Storm.

    * Scourge of Derketo’s abilities have been merged across the Priest archetypes



    So the final line-up is now as follows:



    * Priest Archetype – Druid of the Storm, Scion of Set, Priest of Mitra, Bear Shaman

    * Mage Archetype – Demonologist, Lich, Necromancer, Herald of Xotli

    * Soldier Archetype – Guardian, Conqueror, Dark Templar

    * Rogue Archetype – Ranger, Assassin, Barbarian

    I'm looking for a good class that would be great in 1 on 1 dueling especially

    And also great at PvM / PvE soloing, so preferably some heals. I was thinking dark templar bc they seem like a DD class w/ heals.

    Any tips. How is a Dark Templar in 1 on 1 PvP

    I think i m gonna be Lich.. ? definitely a Lich, sounds cool I cant wait to go to Hell



    btw Dark Templar is fused ( Dark Templar + Zealot ) so he/she should be a great 1 vs 1 char because he is a  warrior with a life drain... or if u spend point into holy magic he is a good healer...
