Diablo 3 this Summer?

Does anyone have a hint on Diablo 3 this year in July??

 

There's a mailorder game site which affirms to know the release of Diablo 3 : July 16th 2007

The text in red brackets says: They don’t have a confirmation from official side about the exact title and release date but evidence suggests that the game is in production.

 

They don’t give any further hint on the so said evidence so they offer the game for pre-order.

 

Soooo… anyone over here who has the merest hint in this case? Diablo 3 this Summer?

    Doubt it. Lots of blizzard staff are/where working on the burning crusade, but my friend work for Blizzard and said its a possablity.

    Diablo 3 hasn't even been announced yet. If it was to apear this summer, it would have been announced by now.

    Those websites are never accurate.  They just try to pull in as much cash as possible in pre orders, but the dates arn't accurate (made up even?).  And if a Diablo 3 was in the works, we'd probably had known about it years ago, what with Blizzard taking a millenia on every game they produce.

    Seriously doubt it. I have never seen a company that has developed a very popular game, and all of the sudden released a follow up without any announcements.



    PS. Next game from Blizzard should be Starcraft based for PC's, not Diablo. Plus it makes a little more sense, since most of diablo developers have departed (especially Lead designers).

    If Blizzard is going to release Diablo 3 within the next year or so then they will probably announce it in the spring or early summer, before Hellgate: London is released or goes into open beta.  Blizz is really good about keeping their projects under wraps until they have something big to announce, but they still need a certain amount of time to build hype and awareness of their product.

    All stores want pre-order cash as early as possible. All those stores MAKE UP OWN DATES when there is no official one. GameStop usually does that, oh hey lookie its german Gamestop what a surprise.
