Guild Wars. . . P2P?

I Was Just Thinking. I Don't Know About World Of Warcraft Cause Ive Never Played It. But Does WoW Come Out With New Stuff To Do Like Every Month. Basically I Hear Guild Wars Is Coming Out With New Expansions Every 6 months For $50 Each. And 6 Months For 50$ Is like $9 Each Month. Except The Fact You Don't Have To Buy The Expansions. Only If You Wanna Keep Up With Other People You Do. Anyone Else Got Any Thoughts About This?

well since that centaur hero they might even make different races in a couple campaighns and it appears there will be two new ones each campaign

That means they'll finally start to catch up with every other mmo out there. One of the major turn offs of that game is the fact that there's only one race. The other being the fact that it's the only "mmo" where the game ends.

A lasting story-line, yes. But, I like the idea of making your own story, and not having to follow a pre-set path, and then waiting around at the end, cooling your heels, until they come up with more.

well, the way it's going in about two campaigns you'll be able to chose sides and mabey like Fable kill a random npc

That definitely would be a cool addition, too bad they'd just respawn, or you could only do it in an instance. I really want a game, where no one is immortal; when you die, you die, with the same rule going for every npc. The idea would be, as the game progressed and people killed the npc's, other players would take up their jobs and the game would move on, as less and less AI is present.

Edit: I'll stop posting here before I take this thread even further away from what it started out as.

I encourage you to play Contra.  Or Pacman.  Or Centipede.  Or many other arcade or acrady games that lack a save feature.  There's a reason many games nowadays have a save feature.  Or immortal protagonists.  Or whatever.
