 Just wondering, but why do so many more people post in the forums then go to live chat?

    Because I can just drop in quickly, read posts respond and get out in the forums. In chat, you have to sit and stare at the screen...

    and in chat you cannot just jump in a conversation,a nd reply to other people that aren't online

    Because forums are much better.

    Generally, ppl who post of forums speak in full, well thought out, paragraphs.
    As where, in chatrooms the conversations are usually dumb and ppl speak in single sentences.
    (of coarse this doesn't apply to alot of IRC Channels,  given the right server)
    You can get alot more replies and topics usually stay longer in forums. (days/weeks compared to minutes)

    Cause forums are better...and there's so much more to read! In chat everyone just sits there asking what games to play and stuff (which some posts,which are happening to frequently, are about that too) but ya, forums rule!

    there is more sens in the forum. You answer a question if you know the answer. In chat you may see everything you want, but answer on your question somewhere deep in the jungle...image

    I personally don't like chat systems.  You really only get to talk to 1 other person at a time and everyone else is having their own conversations amongst yours... they aren't usually all tuned to the same channel so you end up just having to look for the people talking about the same thing and often miss it... I dont know, that's just my idea.
