SOE is offering a promotion to closed EQ subscriptions (closed before Oct 2006) for accounts in good standing, where they get a free month to log back in through the patcher and try out the game again. The free month runs through about 19 Jan 2007.

      That is a decent gesture of SOE for previous EQ players.  I've been currently considering about playing WoW, back to EQ, waiting a bit more for V:SoH, or stick to dabbling in GW.  SOE must've not mssed me though since I hadn't got an E-mail from them mentioning this promotion.    If I had gone back to EQ I would've bought that Titanium anyways.  My old MNK account was that Platinum.

    Hmm, I just ran the patch and tryed my user and pass and it says i need a valid subscription to play...dosn't look like I can come back..you sure their offering some trial?

    pfff yeah why do people/kids post stuff like this? this is bogus.

    After Like a year of me not playing I can not log into my original account either it really makes me mad... I had a 65 druid (when 65 was highest level) and played up until 70 was highest level and had a mage at 70. Other then that I can not log onto that account so it is thus not worth my time and even if I did go back I would be scared... I would probably pay for my subscription again the game is just that addicting just like alcoholics... you don't quit then 3 years later have a drink doesnt work like that.

    If you can solo one monster... take the giant train i just made, thanks.
