Im coming back with Expansion, Whose with me? :)

So i sold my account in october after my raiding guild broke up and I found myself jumping around in orgrimmar for hours at time doing nothing. At first I had no intention to return with the expansions release but as time passed and I saw all the cool gear and new PvP elements that were being added, I said, "To Hell with it, Im gonna come back."

Ive recently resubbed and have been leveling a character in each class to level 10 to decide what I want to play when expansion goes live.

Im excited to get back into the world that i loved for 2 years.

Im excited to talk to all the friends that ive met through the game and have met in real life (I frequently visit my ex guild-leader, raid main tank, and one of our main warlocks, and plan to visit another friend this summer.)

Im excited to hit max level and start PvPing in the arena and start raiding to see the new content.

Im excited to continue the storyline and see what happens next.

I would w8 for the expansion and play 1 of the new races. Palys and Shammys for each side will be in high demand so level fast and im sure you want have any problems getting into even the best of guilds on your server, plus the ride from 1-21 will be a new experience with the 2 new races.

I'm with u. When I started reading I thought this was another "I-think-this-game-sux-and-I-sold-my-account" post but it seemed like it was the opposite. Nice that someones not whining anyways.

played wow for about 2 years. and indeed now i'm thinking to go back

but so many things changed. don't wanna whine here, but i don't like the new talents. so overrated

but maybe i'll start again, with a new char ofc. i am curious about the new world

cause have seen all the rest

I've kicked the idea around. However, joining a world that ever player has atleast 3 level 60 characters makes the game unappealing for an old vet with only 1 level 60. It was fun while it lasted, but once you fall out of the loop it is pretty difficult to jump back into it and enjoy the experience in my opinion. For this reason I'm anxiously awaiting WAR which will mimic a lot of the greatness of WoW, while starting from scratch in a whole new world with everyone at level 1 from day 1:)

Don't you know that there are many new servers to cope with the increase in population? Some are less than a month old, and many more are undoubtedly going to come with the expansion with the masses of people logging on after the expansion.

I know it's not the same as starting afresh, and some people will hit 60+ in a week, but the majority of folks will be poor, epicless and levelling up with you.Yeah I know. That is a great point. I just couldn't leave my previous characters on my vetern character because I put too much time into them. That is the best reason to come back though. I'll take it into consideration.

I believe they are adding new servers the day the expansion comes out which I will definitely be playing on. It's always fun when everyone is starting over. Only problem is EVERYONE on those servers will be the new races, and there will be tons of BE pallies and draenei shammies. I quit last September with a level 60 and 43, and am going to get the expansion and start playing again.

I'm going to have to pass fellas. After almost two years of WoW (and 5 60's later) i burned out in November..and nothing about BC interests me enough to go back.

But good luck to the rest of you, I'm sure you'll have a good time and I'll just sit tight here in DAOC until something new comes along to pique my interest.

5 minutes ago i've canceled my order for expansion i realized that WoW is boring for me and after playing it almost 2 yrs i have enought.

I dont say that WoW suck bec. i liked it and i always be liked it (my old guild POB / AWE etc.)

But now i think i should to check something new like WAR or POTBS or AOC (but the most POTBS and WAR)

I'm planning on staying retired and waiting out a new game

I loved my 2 year tenure in WoW... but almost 6 lvl 60's (yes, I had two more chars 45+) was enough for me, I just can't see BC changing much in the endgame, and I don't want to get readdicted and miss out on some of the new stuff coming out

So.. I'll just sit here and pray for a AoC or WAR beta spot...

My girlfriend still plays WoW though, so I guess if the expansion is 100x more than I'm expecting I'll hear about it
