Closed Beta 3 Starts February

I wonder if they will take in another block of players for it. Perhaps a fileplanet subscribers exclusive or something.

I doubt it, it would be leaving things a bit short notice I think most of the players they planned to include in this beta would've been done by now. At this point they'd be concentrating on getting the new client ready for the current testers to test.

Open beta can be expected to start early April 2007 and release in Europe is planned for May 2007 with other continents following in Q2 and Q3. The third closed beta phase is planned to start early February 2007 and we are looking forward to the feedback from all our closed beta members.

Not really, it would be the PR or QA departments effort not the devs, and all they have to do is generate a new batch of keys and send them out.

Open beta is usualy nothing more than server stress testing and a publicity demo. Final phase closed beta is where the hundreds of little small bugs like text errors, broken quests etc get found and fixed so the more testers the better.

Beta 3 hasn't even started yet.

And Open Beta will be very short.

If Tcos releases this quarter, it'll be late.

They will not relese Q1. I am not holding my breathe they have too many times pushed back release date and this is no different. I might even be a Q1 2008 release. Anyways.. back to WoW I go

...... Thanks TCoS devs your a real jewel. Still going to play TCoS when it does come out but tired of devs basically predicting when its coming out and failing to go through.

LOL. I'm all for calling out development teams on their mistakes but dear god! Why don't you wait till they actually make a mistake to call them out?

Truth is you've no idea. You don't know what Beta3 is going to look like, you don't know what open Beta is going to look like, you have no idea at what point they are with the QA Team, for all you know they could be a week off from a Gold worthy product but need to work on network arch.

All I'm saying is, at least wait until they mess up to call them out on something, then cry your head off. Untill then, at the very least give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't give a rats ass about this game anymore.

I won a beta slot and never got contacted about Beta.

The fact that they are calling it Closed Beta 3 instead of open beta leads me to believe that there just isn't enough people working on the game to get it finished this year.

GL playing this game in 2008..........by then there will be much much better games out.
