EQ2, AO, CoV, Auto Assault, Ryzom, SWG or MxO?

Hi, I am thinking of resubscribing to one of these games (except from MxO which I haven't tried before, but want to). I can't really decide which one I should choose, so could anyone give me their opinions?

    I don't really see how we can tell you what game you want to play at the moment but why not think about what type of gaming mood you are i and resub that game. Personally, I enjoy EQ2 and will be resubbing CoX because I have had a craving for that type of game play (re: mindless with nice action)

    I resub to CoX about 3 times a year for a month or so.  I do have agree it is mindless action.



    Edit:  CoX is the epitome of button mashing.

    Ok, well, I've played most of the games you listed, so I'll give a small discription.

    EQ2- Pretty cool. not exactly for me because there's not enough crafting for me. Ton's of quests and decent roleplaying.Has three factions which is pretty cool, Good, Bad, neutral. Hard to solo the whole thing.

    AO- Really fun, but the characters and landscape arn't the best in graphics. Lot's of instances and professions to choose from. Kind of easy to solo through.

    CoX- Also, really fun, but lacking crafting. There is crafting, but its only for super groups. No indivual houses, only guild hall type things. Also, the character customation is great. I love the fighting system of where if you don't have enough attacks in your toolbar and your other attackings are recharging, you just have to sit back and take damage :). Easy to solo through.

    Ryzom- No character customation at all, really. The whole game is about crafting and let's say, the craftings great :). There are player houses :). The graphics are a little old and it runs a little slow. A bad thing about the combat, you have to attack ONE thing and recharge health for awhile. The whole game is made by the players, pretty innovative. Hard to solo through.

    SWG- Still the best. I've been playing for around 2 1/2+ years now, before and after the NGE and CU and stuff. It was better before, I will admit, but after the NGE they fixed a ton of bugs and such. The crafting is still top of the line and hey, if you ever get bored, you can pay to respec your character to a different profession. House customation is great. Map is huge. Character customation is great. I advise this to everyone,KEEP AN EYE ON SWG, THEY'RE GOING TO BRING BACK THE OLD CRAFTING SYSTEM IN THE NEXT UPDATE!!

    And sadly, I've never player Matrix or Auto Assult.

    Let's sum it up All in greatest to least order. :D

    Role Playing- Cox, Eq2, SWG (You need to look for it in SWG)
    Soloable- SWG, CoX.
    Crafting- SWG, Ryzom.
    Fun- SWG, CoX, AO, EQ2, Ryzom.
    Combat- EQ2, Swg, CoX, AO, Ryzom.
    Keep you active- Swg, CoX, EQ2, AO, Ryzom.
    Biggest Playerbase- Eq2, AO, CoX, SWG, Ryzom.

    If I had to choose between those, it would be EQ 2 or Auto Assault

    out of all yu have listed i would say AO CUUZZZ,  Any game that has group exp debt should be blown up rippied apart and all the peeps that thought of it shotm dismembered and fed to ravenous animals.  Rayzom is to open to a point now unless you have a good amount of time into it.  Auto assault is MEH wooo meh nuff said.  SWG i mean COME ON you should know better then that.  Playing CoV is like playing to achieve nothing at all but to just waste time and say woo hooo i look stupid.  No comment on MxO

    My vote goes for Auto Assault. Fast, fun, and a really good game, it just needs more subs. The next update is gonna add a lot of features that are desperately needed.

    I can only highly recommend Anarchy Online if you truly want to play with your brain. The game requires thinking ahead, math and doing your research on tons of items that can buff you a little better. To the peeps that say the game is free, yes it is...ONLY THE CLASSIC (and now Notum Wars) are free. The expansions like Shadowlands, Alien Invasion and Lost Eden require you to purchase them and pay a monthly fee. The Shadowlands expansion almost doubles the classic game's size (it was huge to begin with) in terms of land mass. Tons of things to do, get and kill.



    AO is not for the noobish kid though and again I only highly recommend it if you want to use your head. This advice comes from a subscriber of 4+ years. I may not play anymore (I still check into the game once in awhile to check up on things with the new expansion), but I finally got a full taste of what the game had to offer only after 4+ years...excluding the new expansion: Lost Eden.



    The graphics aren't half bad though, especially when you get the expansions...Funcom upgraded the visuals a lot.



    BTW, if you did play AO before you know what I'm talking about
