Pretty amazing people do such activities for free stuff. Surely nowadays people realise that huge quantities of anything is dangerous.

A Californian woman who took part in a water-drinking contest to win a video game system has died of water intoxication, tests have shown.

Jennifer Strange had taken part in the "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" game run by KDND 107.9 radio in Sacramento, which promised the winner a Nintendo Wii.

A work colleague said Ms Strange had reported her head was hurting hours after the contest and was going home.

Ms Strange, 28, was found dead on Friday at her house in Rancho Cordova.

    happens to people with athletic trainers every so often.

    she must have drank ALOT of water. The 225ml every 15 mins doesn't sound much though.

    she must have really not wanted to waste$250 for it huh. ah well shows what it can do-by the way,if you smoke weed and are going for a drug test never drink a bunch of water. It takes a whole lot and if you drink to much thats what happens.(at least I heard)

    I saw this over the weekend... kind of weird too since I was just talking about dying of too much water not too long ago with people at work...

    107.9 "the end"  is a horrible radio station, from the music they play to the contests they hold, everything about them sucks.
