I have been playing WOW for about 2 years now and was getting bored with it. I do not consider myself a hardcore player but after playing the better the beta, I really enjoyed this game. It has a lot to do for for many types of players out there. I already pre-ordered the game and looking forward to all the crafting. I know the game has many bugs right now, a little sluggish but I am sure it will be close to being a good running game in a couple of months. The only thing now is to have everybody start using the chat channels in stead of shouting in the game. I had to turn it off due to it being annoying to me. The game is not for everyone. IF you do not like it do not play it. Simple as that. I do not have a top of the line CPU. I am running the game on a laptop with specs of 3.4G P4ht with 2G of ram and a ATI x600 256mb graphic card. It runs alright. If anybody has any ideas to make it run better with what i have please let me know. I am running resolution of 1680 * 1050 and runs k. Anyways this is my first post. Peace out and enjoy your game of choice.

How wrong could the creators of eq1 go?
Eye of twilight give us sight take our offer give as might make our power tears of night.
Hi mate,
Noticed your specs and im running it exactly the same rig as yourself (hp pavillion notebook 8398) but its kinda running very sluggish for me and ive knocked the res to 1024. Its the x600 thats causing the problem cis its an ffin awful video card.
Well have to compare notes on how u got it configured.
Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.
Any game would seem fun after playing World of Warcraft for 2 years
On a less cynical note - Vanguard looks promising, but it really needs to fix performance issues. For what the graphics are, they shouldnt be running so sluggish. Hell my computer can run Oblivion at max on 60+ fps and still struggles with Vanguard. Yet I would consider Oblivion to have way more detailed graphics.
Also the low levels need to be... well more fun. Its like what EQ2 used to be before they revamped the newbie experience. You need to hook players from the very start.
Then at some point, tried to change it into a game.
Now it is not sure what it wants to be, and is suffering because of it.
