Obraik is likely right. They have already gone from a crafting 'revamp' to just tweaking it a bit (it will remain useless, but at least crafters will get to be reverse engineering monkeys!). They're half-assing the whole thing just to get it out the door so they can claim they 'care' about the non-PvP portion of the game. It will likely go live in early February.
It'll be more interesting to see if they continue throwing away money on the game afterwards. They've gone from hyping publishes as 'exciting new changes!' to the current 'don't get your hopes up'. That is how you know they are still 100% behind the game, when they tell you on the official forums not to have high expectations for what should have been an extremely important publish. Oh well, when even the folks with low expectations are disappointed and express that disappointment on the official forums, the 'community team' will have plenty of threads to lock and delete.
It sounds great, so great in fact, I pitty those who canceled - Some deluded SWG fanboi who pities me. I don't like it when you say things. - A Vanguard fan who does too. 09f911029d74e35bd84156c5635688c0

There is hope, hope spelled e-m-u.
I miss the good ol' days when nerds were actually intelligent.
