Im so glad there getting there expansion ":)Im so tired about hearing them complain about the game .So please Any wow Babys Go back to Cartoon Land Please Stay There ":)

    Lol.  Everytime I see WoW players referred to as Babies, I chuckle a little. It also reaffirms my distaste for many in the Vanguard Community.  Notice I said "Many" not all.  I (for one) am a 42 year old WoW player with a six figure income who doesn't generalize.

    I hope you all enjoy Vanguard.  I'll be trying it myself in 6 months to a year or when the free trial comes out.

    Referring to WoW players as babies because they choose to play an actual finished MMO over pay-for-beta is foolish, as it proves they have higher standards and some common sense. Therefore if they are babies, what does thta make VG 'players' by comparison? :)

    I watch Family Guy and the Simpsons, yes i'm 12...

    Note: I am not a WoW player or fan whatsoever, it's called being unbiased and viewing everything from both sides...

    I find it funny that so many people actually assume that when a person has complaints about Vanguard, is must mean they are WoW players.

    It's because they think that if they brand people WoW players, it makes their intelligence look non-existant and discredits any complaints they make.

    I’m not on anyones side, I’ve played WoW and I think it’s a good game and I want to play SoH because it sounds like it could be a good game. 

     

    This post caught my eye, it explains his situation well.  It lists his game of choice, his view on this topic with out offending anyone and his age telling us his experience.  Whets with the “Six figure income” comment?  Are you saying your better then us? Or because of your income we should listen to you?

     

    That’s all I have to say.  thanks

    No what he is trying to say is that grown ups work hard and make six figure income while losers like OP bash others and determine there age and maturity on the basis of an MMO.

    Thank you for understanding most of what I was saying.  With the six figure income thing.  No, I wasn't trying to say I am better than anyone.  In many other posts I've seen a lot of generalizations against WoW players including several saying "WoW players are kids who's parents are paying for their subscriptions".  And no..just because I have a good salary it doesn't mean you should listen to me.  We're all individuals so play what you want.

    The thing is...I've seen so much generalizing on this board and it's definately a bad thing.  Play what you want but don't generalize.  It's an easy and human thing to do.  However, you'll be wrong at least half the time.

    Play what you want and leave the generalizations out of threads like this and maybe...just maybe we can have a constructive conversation about these games without things becoming so personal.

     ***Edit.  The last parts aren't referring to you in particular mmcguire2.  Just a general viewpoint of mine as regards to generalizing.

    Another pointless rant post. I'm sure that you only had time to write 2 lines before the school bus showed up, but actually it would appear that the majority of complaints come from die hard VGSOH fans. Don't believe me check out their official forums some times. But to compare a working game to a non working game is rather foolish.

    Why not? It's the same logic that the fans of DnL and RV had. Why should it be different for Vanguard? Just further confirms my belief that all MMORPGs should have a strong solo option.

    There will be a free trial day one... I personally will have 20 of those trial keys. Ill be giving them out to people once I get my guild taken care of
