MMORPG

Since I couldn't find it anywhere, I thought I'd ask here. Here is a list of features I am looking for in a game:

- Free (no retail price either)

- Downloadable client

- Good 3D Graphics and Music

- Support for multiple races including elves

- Support for multiple classes including a warlock/necromancer

- Good community

The only game that found all of these features (except for price) is WoW, which I like, but i find it costs way too much.

It would help to find a good MMORPG

Thanks,

Phil.

Talk about being bumped down... Can someone think of the type of game I'm looking for?

I'm going to try to say this without being too mean... stop feeding the crap companies that churn out human feces on a daily basis that you children love to play, and keep them making. If people would support the companies that put time, effort, and new ideas into our markets, we could actually have some good games here. The attitude of "I don't want to have to pay for it, but I want to play it" is exactly what is causing all the crap games released in the past few years. Crawl into a hole and die, please.

a free game within those parameters? Highly doubtful, sorry. Usually f2p are lacking in most of what you ask for imo.

Sry bud but unfortunatelly f2p games are a total waste of time and thier communities arent always the best people to hang with. Many years ago i was adamant about paying to play anything, so i stuck with single player games. One day it occurred to me that i spent almost 100 dollars a month for new games and multiple movie tickets. So i figured that if i played an MMO that was p2p i would only pay 15 bucks a month or so rather than 49.99 for a new games ill beat in 2 days and probably never touch again. Id say go play something thats p2p because more often than not u will have much much better service in case u need help and there is more content to be experienced in such game.

That being said u can always hit Trickster or something like that, good luck finding anyone decent to play with.

Wow way to bash me, theanimedude. I am not a child, I am a teen. The reason why I am looking for a game that I don't have to pay for is because I CAN'T pay for it! Have you ever thought of that? Not everyone has a rich family and can waste their money on something like that, so quit acting like a child and start using your head.

If anyone can think of a game that at least follows most of those parameters it would help a lot.

Just go to Best buy and pick up a Game card for the big games. They don't require a CC if you buy the game card. DDO, WoW, the Station pass are all at Best Buy. There usually for two months. Also it shouldn't be hard to round up 15 or 30$ And if worse comes to worse you could get a job to pay for it.

    Dear Phil,

What you are asking for is mutually exclusive. I would encourage you to get a job and stop crying about $15 a month, but in fairness I cant imagine ever wanting to play anything with you, so hopefully you'll keep playing the craptastic games that pass for f2p fun. You deserve them.

    All the best, Phil.

Presumably your parents have paid for a computer and an internet connection. Are you so lazy that you cant figure out some way to make $15 a month?

Its rare to find people who aren't even qualified for fast food. You're a special, special boy, Phil.

RollinDutch, you're kidding me aren't you. Fast food is disgusting. Crying? I DO have a job, and I have to spend my money on more worthwhile things in life, like I said, I'm not rich and neither are my parents. I'm not fortunate in any case. I just play MMORPGs on my spare time, maybe if I played very often I would pay monthly, but it's not worth once in a while.

Wow, I never thought this community would be such a dick! Maybe I shouldn't have come and ask this question here, good riddance, noobs!

well tbh I think what you have all said is rubbish, you say f2p games have crap people and are in general crap lol wtf do you call WoW good???????????? and thats £9 a month and it is the most horrible mmorpg I have ever played with a community that consists of people that never should have been born.

I play voyage century and flyff and tantra because I cant afford to pay a sub atm and In any of these games I havent come across 1 im l77t you StUpiD biTch newb!!!!!!!!!!! hope your mom dies, which was one nice person I meet playing WoW the first week I subbed for £9 plus the retail of the box.

Don't get me wrong there used to be mmorpg's worth paying for but before you all start to rag on the free ones please have a look at what you get for the p2p mmorpg's atm not a good deal imho

Being Rich doesn't have anything to do with it. I'm betting that maybe 5% of MMO players are rich, and it's probably pushing it. You Don't have to be rich to play a MMO. And if you have other "worth wild" things to do then why bother playing?

  • KoSPr0KoSPr0 Member Posts: 66
You talk like a rich kid, a poverty stricken kid knows he has to work for things, rich kids just want things handed to them and when people don't do it thats when they go boo-hoo, welcome to the real world kid, it aint a happy place

Life's a Game, Play to win.

if i worked hard to make some mmorpg id make ppl pay and alot of ppl would to the same thing

so if you wanna have fun then you can go find some other fun game thats not mmorpg

    i suggest

    CS:S

    bf2142

    bf2:modern combat

    Medevil2:totalwar

Oh my god guys stop bashing this kid, is the word ''F2P'' a bad word?, No. Stop bashing him.

To the topic, well, The only one i can reccomend is GW, rest is pretty much not worth spending alota time on im afraid.
  • KoSPr0KoSPr0 Member Posts: 66
Too bad Goddy can't read, the kid doesn't want to pay for anything at all, he wants an entirely  F2P game, and yes its bad.

Wanting something for nothing, is always bad.

    -Fun

    -F2P

    -Nice interface

    Phil, phil, phil.

Unless begging for money from mommy is a job, I really don't think you have one. The reason she's not giving you money isnt because she hates you (although she might, I certainly do), but that she thinks you have better things to do then play MORE videogames (I'd assume youre at the 10-hour-a-day mark right now, since you called me a noob). I'm sure she'd shower you in $20s if you actually got a job and showed any signs of not being a lazy failure.

Either accept the fact that you wont get what you want for free, or pay the $15 toll. Crying about it wont change the simple choice that you've got.

    Keep on truckin', Phil.

FFS RollinDutch my mom has nothing to do with this, none of my parents can afford 15$ a month and neither can I. I DO have a job, and I DO have to spend that money on things like "College" such a word you might not have heard of, and also "FOOD" something needed to survive. I just want to play an MMORPG on those few odd hours a week that I'm not busy doing work, you know, just to relax.

FYI I call anybody with some spending money as "rich" since they are compared to my family. So quit being douches and get a life. Thank you very few who stick on my side. I got about 3 replies that actually answers my question without bashing me about my being unfortunate.

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight.

You're 15, paying for college. Your parents don't feed you. You have a job. You like to get paid for your job. Don't you think game developers do as well?

Your arguments are retarded. You're saying that you want to do something fun while you're not at work, yet you're looking at playing a F2P game: First strike. You're saying you can't pay for a game, yet you supposedly have a job: Second Strike. You're saying you're 15 having to pay for college: Third Strike.

    You're out!

    Sincerely yours,

EliteCrusher, ignore the gimps on this thread.

You're not going to get everything in your list but I'd suggest you try something like Silkroad or Rappelz.

  • LordSlaterLordSlater Member Posts: 2,087

You could try Guildwars or one of its later expansions, true you ahve to buy it but its a solid CORPG and has no subscription fees.

Also its art style is exelent.

I decided to not bash Phil for his last post.

Turns out he's Canadian, and 15 real dollars is like a billion loonies or whatever monopoly money they use.
