  get amd (68x4000 if possible) if not 68x3800 works. No intels are good for gaming

  This is pure ignorance. The Core 2 Duos beat the AMDs hands down. Go look at some comparisons, it's not even really close.

  Edit: Go with the Core 2 Duo, it's a better choice than the X2 3800+.
