I haven't played Marvel Ultimate Allience yet. I have to say Dark Angel for Xbox is the worst game ever for me.

I bud of mine owns that game. He asked me if I wanted to have it for free. I didn't even own a N64. I hear the Solve My Maze was the toughest part and also you had to unlock your powers.

Hmm... Wikipedia says that IGN called Spawn: The Eternal was one of the worst games ever.

    I like that game. :-/

"Spawn: The Eternal (1997, PlayStation) was described by IGN as "one of the worst games ever" and 'a disappointing game that sullies the fine Spawn name.'"

I have Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I really like it. I can see some people not liking the game, but it is hardly "Worst Game Ever".

Never played it, but have any of you ever read the review of Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing? The first time I read that, I almost pissed my pants.

If any of you think any of the current-gen games are the worst ever, I recommend playing some of the obscure titles for the NES/SNES/Genesis. There are some awful games to find, trust me.

A "Worst Game Ever" would have to be one that was pretty popular and so not only would I have found it bad, but I would have been disappointed. There are a lot of bad games, but I always knew when I was going to try playing one and so there was never any let down.

So for me I would have to say either Resident Evil 1(For Gamecube) or Tomb Raider 2 for Playstation. Tomb Raider was supposed to be one of the greatest action games out there(Soon after its Initial Release) and after a few days of rental I couldn't get get out of the damn cave I started in. With Resident Evil it was a re-release but got great reviews. However I couldn't even figure out how to fire the damn weapon. Dino Crisis also was a wasted rental with only maybe 10 minutes of gameplay on a 3-4 day rental.

I guess I just didn't like those 3rd person action shooters. There are other 3rd person action shooters I dig, but the 5 years or so that those were all the rage put me off the Playstation completely and forever.

I remember when that came out I was working at a video store. Someone brought it back defective and I was suppost to play it to see what (if anything) was wrong, which is usually a good excuse to sit in the back for hours doing no work and getting paid for it. I played about 3 minutes of it, wrote broken on it, took it off the shelf and went back to work. Doing customer service work in a poverty struck part of town is better then playing that game. It's the worst.

    Honorable mentions to:

Pool of Radiance (the second one) - a dull game that took Windows with it when you uninstalled.

Superpower 2 - Modern world sim that features such highlights as: completely useless navies (landing troops just go right by), an AI that doesn't understand the concept of nukes, buggy economics (how can Iran not make money selling oil with no embargos), 100% tax rates that shoot your popularity up with your people, and such realistic world events like Columbia declaring war on Syria and England declaring war on India.

I'm with you on Resident Evil and Tomb Raider, I hate both series. But, Tomb Raider I have to admit was alot better by a long shot though. RE was just so boring that I would have rather had my teeth pulled without Novacane or NOS.

I'm not a big fan of 3rd person shooters either. Especially uber boring ones.

ET for the Atari 2600. No other game can even compare.

A good second place would have to be Aquaman for the PS2...

Of the worst games that I've played, I would say that superman for the nintendo 64 has to be up there.  The rediculously difficult maze took me forever to complete(due mostly to bad controls)  And even with full cheats to get all of your powers, the game just wasn't very fun.

There was also a game for the ps1 called Armorines:  Project Swarm, that was pretty freaking horrible...though I wouldn't say that it was as bad as Superman 64

Superman 64 was horrible, I remember renting it, playing for about 3 minutes, going "What the hell is this?", tossing the cartridge, and plopping in the much more respectable Rampage 64.

Also, didn't they jack up the price of Superman 64 when it originally came out? Wasn't it like $60 or $70? I dunno why I remember that.

I also wasn't really impressed with South Park for the N64, Resident Evil 1, Perfect Dark, or Mischief Makers.

For me its a toss up between Anarchy Online and Summoner for the PS2.

I played summoner...I didn't think it was one of the worst games ever...It just wasn't very user friendly as far as directing the player as what the hell they are supposed to do next.

How could you not like Perfect Dark? I loved that game. There was so much content for the multiplayer, and the counter-op idea was awesome.

Well, not counting games based off of movies (these would easily fill the top 100 worst games of all time list single-handedly), I'd have to say Turok for N64. Terrible, terrible game.
