This game is probably going to be really cool, but I want to know what people are really looking for or what aspects people really want in this game. So if you have any good ideas about what should be put in this game go ahead and post your ideas down. thank you.

i think the reasons this game has so much hype are
1 collision detection: you can no longer just run right through all players and NPCs
2 not an epic grindfest: end game is pvp not 40man raids
3 the ammount of character customization: you can make your character look basicly however you want
The return of RvR, PvP available in every zone, instanced scenarios to balance population differences, open PvP with an actual purpose, capital city sieges, no stealth classes, collision detection, "tactics" and "morale", real purpose for defensive tanks in PvP, no pure healing classes, mounted combat, faction-specific classes, multiple warfronts, reduction in the PvE "grind", public quests, branching quests, conflict quests, RvR focused PvE, The Compendium of Knowledge, PvP loot tables, no more raiding with 40 people I don't know or like, no more raiding period if I so choose, customizable characters, customizable mounts, PvP reward system, crafting which is actually useful, visible character growth...and I'm sure there's more.
And that's only what's been talked about so far. There's still about 10 months to go.

the main feature i look forward to is the completeness of immersion given by rvr.
i hope the world will be a breathing one where the rvr is felt as complete part of the game and that it involves and pull you in from the get go. I want to see battles raging around me that will make me want to go there and help my mates, i want to see iconic warhammer guys beating the snot out of each other and be one of those, i want to conquer keeps, towers, whatever and win and lose to the enemy in a as balanced as possible way.
i want a place where the difference in sheer character power between tier 4 and tier 1 is much reduced than normal games and i want the freedom of choice that the skill tree system promise. and oh, yes, collision detection, tactical combat and mounted charges.

I like how they're copying what WoW did with zones. If WAR is a WoW clone in any respect, it's because WAR is going to be filling it's map with things. That was probably the best thing WoW did, a place was hardly ever empty there was always a cave or something. WAR seems to be taking this a step further and filling their maps with INTERESTING things Like the Beard tree for example.
RvR of course. The only MMO I ever played for a long time was CoH/V. It's the best out there right now in my opinion but heavily instanced. I'd like to see more people running around.
Also, WoW was a pathetic disgrace to the Fantasy Genre. I'm looking forward to races/countries being more than astesics. Also, WoW was heavily broken in the class department. I want a game where I can play a Warrior because I like swords, not because I want to be gear dependent and mindless. Then there's the fact that WAR is promising persistance. You load cannons, they fire. You don't stop the Orcs in the instace, they get control of the city.
PVP
Lots and lots of PVP
2) Some instances with bosses
3) Chain quests
I'm realy looking forward to the Classes and the different roles they all have. The IGN interview where paul is talking about how every class is going to have a little gimmick that they do realy well. That playing every class is going to provide a distinctly different playing experience.
Another big draw for the game is obviously RvR.....PvP on a global scale in the game. Not just an optional place you can go where you play little mini games against other players.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
I totally agree. It will blast all challengers if it properly executes HALF of what it is promising.
I think they either actually ARE gamers or they truly listened to them. I mean, it all sounds so OBVIOUSLY appealing to a great many of us. I would like to see a good solid crafting system as well, but that is obviously not sounding like their forte and can really screw with the itembase/economy. I think this game seems to forgo most of that other stuff (as superfluous) and, like the classes they designed, does something very well. That being, combat of all sorts with variation, relevance and flair.
I do hope they go so far as to even change the interface significantly according to the class you play. I never liked how you couldn't really tell the difference between a Warrior, Paladin, ShadowKnight, Crusader, Defender, Barbarian, Brawler, Fury, etc. except by the names of the skills. I mean, what's the point? Do they think we are so dumb as to think that makes them different?
Additionally, I'd like to see some more verbalization by the characters a la WoW. I thought it sort of overly serious and muted when I played EQ2, VGSOH, etc. The characters were totally silent and it really detracted from really connecting with my character; which is by far the most important thing for a gamer to connect with. On the lighter side, it is still just a GAME. I'd like to have some /jokes and normal autonomous verbalization to keep it amusing during downtime or when in a fight, etc. Maybe even a nice supply of /taunts for all the PvP-age.
Completely agree with the post. A few other things Im excited for, unlike WoW there is going to be a lot of classes. Each have there own unique things. I like WoWs PvP in fact that you have a shot (gear aside) against any class, but I also truley enjoy DAoC PvP (the siegeing and everything else that comes with it)..it seems Mythic is trying to nail them both with this game. If they pull it off I will be SO happy with this game.
If I need heals Im not killing fast enough
1) PvP / RvR.
2) Procedural Quests.
3) Collision system.
