Played: Erm, a lot more.
It's an alright game.
It kept me occupied for a couple days. Which lasts much longer than most games for me.
When I play a game, I OVER play. About 13 hours a day spent on it.
So I always get to like lvl's 30'ish and decide if I like the game or not.
This one kept me playing the next day, so yeah.
Try it out y'all.
Been playing VC for about a month now (few hours every day) and I'd definately say it's worth a try. Best free-to-play MMO I've seen, and not your typical spawn-camping grindfest, like most free MMOs. So I wouldn't call it an "uber grind" - not compared to so many others. There's a lot more to do than just sit on mob spawns all day. It's got a huge crafting aspect, including resource harvesting, ala mining, farming, etc. It's not purely combat-centric, you can focus entirely on being a crafter, and even advance to the endgame without fighting anything at all, via trading or exploration. So, IMHO, there's more depth to it than even most $14.95/month games.
Course, it has it's weak points, too. The pedestrian combat sucks, it's just simplistic click&wait. Click mob, click again to attack, wait untill it dies, repeat. Luckily, you can just not do that, but some of the content does depend on it. Some quests and the like, as well as ship-deck melee, which you can't do, if you haven't spent countless hours grinding the skills you need for it.
Also, it doesn't have much PvP. Huge PvP potential, with the guilds, nationalities, pirates, etc, but there's no incentive for it. It's there, but pointless and almost entirely avoidable, and doubt the devs will change that.
And all that said, I'm only playing it untill Vanguard goes live. The historical theme just doesn't really appeal to me, and despite being a great change from other F2P games, the lower budget does show in a lot of ways.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
