been awhile since i played DAOC, maybe 2 years or so. Can I still re-activate my old account? or do they still delete old inactive accounts after a period of time.

Nope, all your old accounts/characters are still there waiting for you. In fact, if the accounts are old enough you'll get to put the title of Elder above your name (not as cool as Master Soldier, or Bane of Albion, but good for a start) and even get some nice gems (from an NPC in your capitol city) that will let you port back to your personal house, guild house and last bind point (sort of an improved hearth stone)
So come on back... (though you might want to consider a re-roll on Gareth if you're looking to start a new character and want someone to group up with)

Perhaps some old friends are still waiting too!
Don't roll Gareth if you hope to buy a house - try one of the other classic if you decide to go that way . You'll find some changes to the game most for the good. I don't get as excited about classic as a few of the others do here. TOA has changed a lot for the better too.

Didnt want to start a new thread; because Im coming back to DAOC as well. Ill join you fellas on a Classic server. Did you say Gareth/Ector is a cluster now? Also does anyone have a quick link to download the core game? I need to reactivate my account and dont have the originals anymore.
