System Error for D&D

in Dungeons & Dragons Online
I have been trying to download the free trail for some time now.  I dont know why it wont let me but Im getting an error saying that its not Winxp Compatible.  I have Windows XP, and thats what the requirements say I need.  Dont know if I really need DirectX 9 to play it for when It says I should have it.  Oh I download the game fine, but it wont let me install the game.  So until I can try the free trail, Im not going to buy it.  Whats the point if I cant play the trail right?

    You will need Service pack 2, the latest DX9 loaded and also MS .net framework 1.1 on your comp.    If you have all that going and recent drivers for your gfx card go to the ddo forums and post in the tech section.   You will have reply's to solve your problem pretty fast by other players or the devs.

    well just go to fileplanet or something and try and DL there, you have to have certain things that i guess you don't have to DL it
