Yes, the game has a growing population the main server Brumhart is pretty much always on medium load atm the other Gaiahorn is usually low and this is increasing every week, i wouldnt be suprised if Brumhart was full and Gaia atleast medium in a few months time, especially when Episode 2 comes out (some awesome features) if they had released the game as F2P with just the box to buy and with Episode 2 already, they would have done alot better.
its hard to make a guess how many actually play the game though, although i can assure you, its over 1000 .
Oh and if it takes you 8 hours to get level 10 your a complete newb, i got to level 11 in about 3 hours of gameplay.
1-6 takes about an hour 6-10 bout an hour and 15 mins 10-11 about 20-25 mins
And i wasnt even hardcore leveling.

lvl1 to lvl 10 takes about 8 hours. A little slow but not too bad. This game is not too bad for the price and no monthly fee.
