Head start starts on Friday at 10am PST. Pre-order the game before that, and you receive the head start. When "official" release hits on the 30th, pick up the "retail" game and input the key that came with it. That will allow you to continue playing the game.
Umm, I guess if you order it online. But then it will take at least a couple days to get to you. Although with pre-orders, I don't know if you can order those online, you may just have to go into the store.
If you pre-order online, you do NOT get the access code you need for early play. You need to physically go into the store, whether it's Best Buy, EB Games, or Gamestop. You need to get the box so you have the keys inside. Otherwise you're just going to be pre-buying the game and waiting for it to arrive in the mail without being able to get in on the head-start.
Yeah i pretty much think I would get screwed out of it
Hey dwayne, you can order the download version of the game from Sony or direct2drive and get the head start. You won't get a physical dvd or box, you'll just download it. But you can get the head start this way.
Ehh I was thinking about trading in my 360 anyways on account of me not playing it at all anymore. I guess ill just use the mass amounts of credit I get from that towards the vanguard special edition. You guys think gamespot still has preorder boxes for it?

"You will be able to use the beta client at release, and it will in fact be more up to date than the client on the DVD's."
