I was wondering about dialup and ddo

in Dungeons & Dragons Online

I played this game a few months ago on dsl but i have moved and alli can get is dial up now. So i was wondering how does this run on dial up thanks in advance.

    Tricky. I would make a fake email, and get a trial key. Reinstall the game you have and download the massive patches on dial up. Once you finally get in game group up with a lot of people that have voice chat on and see how it runs. That should answer your question before you decide to give them any money.

    I don't have any friends or know anyone that plays this game on dial up so that is best answer I know to give ya. Goodluck!

    I do remember seeing a few patches ago line items about much improved dial up improvements.   I remember thinking why are they even trying to make the game dial up playable, but this makes sense for players in your situation.  Make sure that you DO NOT install the high res tectures and keep the graphics settings on medium for improved performance.   The engine has been around and tweaked for around 7 years now so they have made tons of improvements across the board and I imagine one of them would be dial up play.
