using NVIDIA GFORCE 6200 512MB card - am i safe?

 

using NVIDIA GFORCE 6200 512MB card

it has direct x 9.0  pixel shader 3.0 technology built in

i have an AMD Sempron chip  - 3400+  2 gighz -  which im told is as fast as a 3gighz intel pentium

Windows XP Home edition

1.25gig of RAM

110 gig hard drive space left

using 42" plazma TV for monitor

52 speed DVD rom combo drive

just want peeps opinion  - will i need to upgrade RAM or graphics card or should i be ok with that setup?

    Videocard is outdated you should be safe to run at around the performance levels maybe balanced not sure...Getting another gig of ram and possibly upgrading to a 7600GT Depending if your motherboard is AGP or X16 wich judging by he processor you have an AGP motherboard...I would look into another stick of 1g ram and a better videocard of on budget,,But if you cant do both go with the stick of ram this is all my opinion.

    RAM is your friend and you need more of it. It will make all the diference in the world when playing this game or any other.

    i am investigating more RAM yes

    i need 2 gigs realy

    the card belive it or not only cost me £120 from maplins lol - that was like 6 months ago

    yes my Mboard is AGP compliant but i wthink i will hold off on a new card for a while  - not long had that one i have

    You will do fine. I tested Vanguard on both my computers, and it runs fine. One of the computers has an AGP Nvidia Geoforce 6200 256meg video card. It ran at 15 to 20 fps on high performance(2nd lowest) without any ini tweaks.

    heh - well i'll be...

    maybe i wont need the RAM upgrade after all
