Well ill start off by saying that I played the game years about probly about 3years ago ( I had 50 on TOA server). I was in love with the game to the point it was all I did lol. Anyway I moved around and tried SWG/WOW/L2. I really can't stand wow and its simplicity, it just gets old fast and the pvp doesn’t do it for me. So the question is, is DAOC worth coming back to in terms of community and active players.




I swear I have a physical addiction to the game lol its like crack, i keep feanin for it.

    I think you'll find that most of the regular posters here are quite happy with the activity level still in the game.  I play Classic Servers and it feels like the old days, plenty of folks leveling up, not just in Catacombs instances but out in the Classic/SI lands...

    Quite a bit of activity still on TOA clusters as well from what I'm told.... so sure...come on back and give it a try.....

    The game currently has xp and coin bonuses up in classic areas and shourded isles , 1.74 xp and 2X coin.  Frontiers ahs 2x bonus , its bring a lot out of the task dungeons now and making folks more visible and easier grouping :)

    Unless you plan on playing 12 hours a day to compete and farm all the new x-pac gear just to compete in RvR then sure have a ball if you are like me and can only play a few hours a day then dont bother.....

     

    Only classic server has  POP's and most of the ones that play there play in 20 man zerg running down the 4-5 man group going to defend a tower or CK.

    If u dont have the time dont bother Classic cluster= ToA 2.

    New items are ToAish in stats cap/resist cap etc.... You just dont have to farm 3 scrolls and do an incounter anymore.

    And yes i still play at least for another week till my account goes dead again for the fourth and final time
