Beta has ended, here comes my opinon.

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

After playing world of warcraft since the start I finally get bored of it  and went to play Guild Wars that was even worse endgame than wow. So back to Ultima online for some real endgame, But the graphics suck and so does the gameplay theese days so I took a chance and ordered a game that cought my eyes a year ago.

I preordered the game to get some testing before the final was released, With no expectations, just  the hope to find something better than the last games i played I went in and created a bloodmage. 2 days later after tested all chars and races I found my call and fell in love.

I didnt have time to get to endgame but I must say that it looks promising and If im comparing to the games Ive played in the past  I havent been this excited in a long time.

The Interface and steering your char is the same as in wow, witch is a good thing since its the best ive encountered so far. the graphics is less cartoonish  than wows suits me fine, professions has been more like uo style also a plus and Housing  do I need to say more? so far this game Is an improvement of my favourite games in the past.

PVP.

I can tell you about 2 different expiriences  first one at my starting village,

A druid stood and waited for someone to gank so when i saw him I attacked right away , after I killed him I let him pick up his stuff and heal up and he started chasing me so we went at it again , after killing him a couple of times he started trashtalking me so I just put him on ignore, What I didnt mention was that He managed to win one of the fights and after doin that he started to attack me before i reached my gears kinda cowardly but I guess you find theese ppl everywhere.

Fight 2 I jumped a paladin and after a long fight he beat me down. But both was happy after a good fight and after that we talked for a couple of hours and  teamed up and fougt eachother and other people who came to town.

The sum of it is , If you like a game with great pvping and exploring this is the best game in the market so far.

Out of  10 starts i give it a 9 because of the lagg i had, (lagg will be reduced in final when worldwide servers will be up).

Previous ratings:

Uo   7/10   (for the great endgame)

Wow   6/10    (Good leveling up, poor endgame)

Gw    5/10  ( Best nonfee game but very poor pvp and endgame)

Lineage2   5/10 (Was a good game at time)

Diablo 2    9/10 (years of pleasure but cant compete with todays games)

    is there any reward to pvping? Other than the fun factor of course.

    No, it's not fun either, not balanced at all.

    Threre will be rewards, from what i red youll get 15% of the gold he was carrying.

    And if you think its uneven,  Its like rock sissors bag  you cant beat them all or mabyethe problem is that you just dont know how to pvp with the char you chosen.

    Well you cant like them all but as i said above this is the best game I ever tried and I can't wait until it launches.
