Oblivion

Ive been playing Oblivion lately, and ive found that it really isnt as great as everyone made it out to be, in my opinion.  Is there something im missing?  I mean, the graphics are good, no doubt, but i just dont think its lived up to its name as far as hype goes.  Does anyone else feel the same, or am i overlooking something?

    Out of the box Oblivion isn’t nearly as good as its predecessor Morrowind. The world seems much smaller even though it’s technically larger and it just isn’t as rich.



    It does retain is much of the same ability for player made mods, but if you not into these then I can see Oblivion being no better then so so.

    i really wish that they had made oblivion an MMO

    everything in the game seemed like the perfect MMO, just with an empty world

    I agree.



           I think oblivion would make a great MMO.....the only problem would be the storyline.  Would it be the same game except with other people, or would the sotryline change.  Becuz ryte now, in the story, its a single person adventure.  There isnt really any room for partying or interaction with other players.  Im sure they could have made it that way, though...

    Yea....actually, i dont really like the combat style.  You just click and cast and maybe right click to block.  It doesnt really have any way of perfecting or getting better at combat other than raising your skill levels.  It gets frustrating.

    i myself felt the game was missing alot until i downloaded OOO (Oblivion Obscures Overhaul), and of course a great deal modding myself.

    looking forward to the expansion nevertheless though :)



    EDIT: forgot, i really missed a decent crafting system:(  so currently looking into crafting mod's..lol

    I think it was a really good game! We don't have many non-linear games, I love the freedom in this one! Have you done the quests for the Assassin and Thief guild?

    Not yet doing those next week right now im doing the warioes guild one.
