You really don't know how much you love a game, til your denied access to it.

Getting serious withdrawal, come on friday :)

Like Evercrack once was, Crackguard is needed to feed my habit...

    Hahah although i did not play the beta but i have been swamping around through forums and through websites for information to make up my mind about what class/race i was going to be and also gearing up for friday morning will be up at about 4AM tommrow to make sure i jumpstart asoon as the servers go live! And i myself cannot wait too much anticipation but it will come sooner then you think! see most of you in game!

     i dont post on forums that regular and i have always wondered what a troll was

    i used to think i knew but then it seems that people were called trolls simply for having a different opinion then a poster

    so now i am just confused

    ps can anyone tell me if they think this game can run on dial up? we were able to run coh and wow on dial up no problem and now we have more ram and upgraded vid cards to the 7000 series

    still wating for dsl in our area unfortunately

    been trying to find out if anyone has played with dial up

    let me know

    Dail up no i really dont think it would , and a troll isnt someone with a different opinion its someone who jumps in every tread so he can to try to  shove that opinion down your throat

    That and a troll is someone who makes pointless or outrageous comments just in order to get under people's skin and get them to respond.  Usually it's in an inflamatory manner, and they tend to pass off their opinions as fact, or purposefully make blanket or vague statements to get the response they want.

    At least IMO.

    Well, I play Vanguard on a cellular air-card from my laptop. It's faster than dial-up, but not by as big of a margin as DSL or cable (only rated at 200 kbps vs. your 56kbps). Loading the well-populated cities in is a real problem - made worse by my 2.0 Mhz and 1 GB RAM, undoubtedly. However, the content bordering on major cities doesn't tend to be very time-sensitive. It might be an annoyance, but its never gotten me killed.

    Nah, people that are called trolls are ones that already don't like the game, and really do not have any business in the forums except to put the game down. . . if people don't like the game or are not going to play the game there is no reasons for them to really come to the forums for it

    Nah, people that are called trolls are ones that already don't like the game, and really do not have any business in the forums except to put the game down. . . if people don't like the game or are not going to play the game there is no reasons for them to really come to the forums for it

    That my opinion of a troll as well.

    They don't like the game but are always talking about it on forums. Most of these people have never played the game but made their minds up and like to pee off people.

    For instance, I won't go to the blarblar forum and tell they how much their game sucks because to them it doesn't and they enjoy it.

    I think of it as Star Wars. Trolls/Naysayers are the Empire, Fanboi's are the Rebel Alliance.

    The Empire sometimes have a very good arsenal of weaponry they can use against the Rebels and bombard them until they have to switch planets. When the Rebels arrive at their new base planet, they get carried away and think all is well, trying to convince civillians on the planet to join their cause, as it's the best cause ever!..

    ...Little do they know that the Empire Deathstar is approaching following an Empire Intelligence report about this new, lush, green planet. The civilians watch as they kill each other, with the remaining Rebel alliance again fleeing to another planet to again try to convert non-believers..


    Me? I'm a civilian. The Rebel's preach like they are an obsessive cult. The Empire seem more sane in their opinions, but their methods can be a bit rash sometimes. I'll stay in my shack on Naboo, moving to a new planet when the Jedi arrive with some wisdom.

    Omg, that was geeky in everyway, scarily that just came out without any thought, 3 days without alcohol must do this...time to get the emergency supply of Domestos...

    Being a loyal member of the empire, I disagree.

    The Trolls/Naysayers are more like Ewoks, annoying, useless and should be exterminated at every possible chance.
