    how the hell could ANYONE think that old project was a scam? Theres no one who builds something that costs at least a half a mill to 1 mill to make and than only takes a few hundred orders for it willingly. If they wanted to scam people they would of did what dark and light did and take 10,000 orders for $60 each months before. Didn't dnl say what people were getting was a stand alone game but it was really just dnl alpha? THATS a scam. isn't farlan bein sued for using stolen engine stuff too????

    dark and light should have a thread like this.. not this thing.   that game barely reached .1% of anyone who even plays mmorpg's and people are causing this big of a fuss?  amazing...

    Thanks a LOT for those informations though. It shows that you care about this industry, probably even more then some very rich publisher outhere.

    Looks like DnL just got beaten for the worst scam ever pulled in the MMO market

    We should have the legendary topics here on mmorpg.com archived or something and posted as a sticky, just so we can remember the BIG ONES. Like this thread.

    This one was so active, i almost cried when it started to drift back into the pages and not reclaim the first page...

    Yeah this one is pretty legendary. There was a period of maybe 6 months there where if you googled anything to do with Mourning, this thread came up as number one LOL.

    I think that hurt them a lot because people got to read all about the game before they even found the official site.

    Boy, it was a blast. It all resulted in the game closing down, Colton harassing mmorpg.com folks, him being banned and his site being de-listed and his company being closed down by the state of Oregon... He still did get a ton of cash from some investors though... If those funds were received under his illegal business... well, then I imagine those funds are no more. eh eh eh what stupid fucking idiot that Colton is... The only gripe most have is mmorpg.com deleted all of the forums about ToC... So, there is no learning from our mistakes here I guess....
