wow UO just keeps on getting better and better. So now we are getting 2 expansions this year along with 2 playable races. Along with that the devs stated PvP will get some attention as soon as KR is released. I am loving the lore for the gargs and i can't wait to travel to the abyss. If you read these forums to see if this might be your game i would suggest jumping in now. Things are only getting better for UO big changes are happening. 2007 seems to be the real UOrenaissance.  I am just so overly excited for all this.

This info was leaked out so they say by mistake:

    (reposted for everyone's convenience)

    Hey, all, here's the deal:

The Atlanta Town Hall meeting was intended to be the big reveal for all these details. (We're doing a huge press event as I type this, but the press was not going to use the info until next week.) The info going up on the Japanese page was the result of a miscommunication - I'm bummed our thunder was sort of stolen, so y'all who are coming to the meeting - act surprised when we announce stuff, ok?

Because we had no intention of releasing this info to the community this week, we're not prepared to answer questions or release further info right now. We'll be showing the stuff on it detail in Atlanta - so show up there, or stay tuned for reports!

wow, the art work is amazing  I wish I could play with the KR client already. I am kinda over screen shots after waiting for so long just see new ones and yet nothing changes. I am kind worried though because I just keep on seeing the same armor and weapons. I was hoping that  armor and weapons would have alot of diversity. Thanks for the info and also who is planning on going to the Town Hall meeting in Cali?

This game does look neat, but really what is the change going to be other than graphics?  I honestly for one hope it becomes a lot better than before.  I played UO back when I was a very young immature kid and my favorite thing to do was try to rip people off.  Im sure a lot of people enjoyed that aspact of the game.  But, the game really went down hill for me once trammel and felucca came out.  I know for a lot of the PvErs it was one of the greatest things ever.  But really think about it.  Once that came out you have gotten rid of the rogues the PvPers, the thrill of never knowing what will happen that day.  Also, I believe adding all the artifact weapons and armor ruined the game too.  I loved the days of getting a weaponf rom the blacksmith shop and going out to try to kill people.  For me the game was one of the most wonderful experiences I have had but with all the total changes it just stole all of what I enjoyed of the game away from me.  With all the arties came all the elitest farmers and then the farmers.  Just stole all the fun from the game.

LOL ya I bet that was real fun for all those people getting ripped off.  At least you are honest.  UO getting rid of these type of people was the smartest thing they ever did.

I guess you could say it was the smartest thing they ever did.  Except once they made candy land the game went under... so really I dunno

pfft theres nothing wrong with scamming. I rarely scam myself, but i know several scammers. Its the fault of the people who were scammed. I mean my friend once scammed a keep by telling the guy hed give him a wow acct afterwards...  All my characters are perma red except one trammy i made to buy stuff. Pvp is not dead, but  trammel put it into serious decline. Trammel was a horrid idea. Instead they simply should have made a couple safe dungeons where reds cant attack anyone. Asides from that all thats used in trtammel are the Banks and some house spots....
