I can ofcourse have missed it, but I have never seen any official statement from a Funcom employee or anything in EULA or RoC that state that you not allowed to play with 2 diffrent account at same time in AO, I have however heared several time pepole talking about playing with 2 instances of AO even on same computer(with 2 accounts ofcourse) when Funcom staff have been there, so can you please show me where in the EULA it is.
I didn't read the EULA right now, but I have played since launch and never seen it..
Using 2 accounts on 2 computer can never be consider cheating if you play with both computers (no bots) , then it would be cheating to sit next to a RL friend playing, or cheating if someone have more friends than you that are playing so they can get help easier.
And I can't see how it can hurt you so much so you don't want to play the game just because someone else managed to play with 2 computers at same time.

So let me throw this hypothetical into the discussion. Suppose that a MMORPG was to let people pay three times as much for a character that was twice as strong as other characters. Let's further suppose that PvP was an integral part of this game. Do you think people would play the weaker characters? Or would the game pretty much be played by people who could afford the higher rate? I think that the hypothetical company would have lower revenues, since they've excluded people who didn't want to play on easy mode for more money.
I further think that this is what is limiting the entire market. The buzz is that MMORPG is a saturated market, and that companies are fighting over players already playing other games. There are people out there who are turned off these games because of inequities like people who play with two accounts.

The MMORPG industry is not so much saturated as is their targets. Companies are going after the same cluster of players already familiar to MMORPGs and not new, potential players. Two dozen farmers can only milk an individual cow so much. They need to milk the countless other cows in the pasture.

It's a huge diffrence of allowing players to have 1 char that are twice as strong as a 'normal' character without any effort than it is to have people playing on 2 computers at same time, a game like that would never work because it would be an unfair advantage that you could point out, 2 accounts are still just same as you playing together with a friend, no unfair advantage.
You also mix PvP into the whole 2 account discussion, how many do you think manage to do any good mass PvP when playing on 2 chars at same time?
A well played character is alot better than 2 half played characters in PvP.
It's very hard to get players that not normally played MMORPGs into the MMORPG market, WoW will succeed with it because many Warcraft and Diablo players will try it, that's not only good for Blizzard, it's also good for the entire market since it means there are more potentional customers for other MMORPGs when the players get bored of WoW.
