How many character slots per server/account ?

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
  I like to switch between multiple characters and really hate not having the slots to try out new things.  I resigned my EQ2 account with the release of a new race and only 6 character slots per account (which have been filled for a long time), and don't want to start another gamne which expects me to purchase multiple boxes/accounts to be able to experience the offered possibilities.  So a few weeks from release it would be nice to know ....

    No one can really tell you because we are bound by the NDA not to disclose any details. I have not seen an official statement on the number of characters you can create per server yet.

    I believe it's 8 character slots per server.

    I'm still not sure if it's 8 character per server or 8 per account. Can someone clarify this? If it's 8 per server then whats the maximum per account? Thanks

    Im not sure myself, but im also guessing its going to be a 8 slot per server. Hoping actually.

    dont know but i think 8 pre sever like every one else said. think that is how it was on eq1 to.

    Logging in right now, you get to the character creation screen.  After selecting the race and class, you select the server.  So your character slots will not be server dependent as of right now.  If they will change it in the future, we don't know.  From the looks of it, 8 characters per account (not server.)

    It's 8 characters per account total.

    Doesn't matter which servers or how many servers, you can only have a total of 8 characters max. When you hit 8, you won't be able to make anymore, even on other servers.
