Alot of the PVP in WOW is more dependent on the gear the person is wareing, I mean if a Tier 0 Warlock and a Tier 3 Hunter mix it up, the hunter will win hands down. That is the one thing in WoW that sucks, you get these tier 3 toons that run around and completly make it impossible to do anything (If you play on a PVP server).

I will really have to disagree with you, Nigheris.
In WoW, it is definitely your skills that wins your battles. Of course, I cannot argue that good gear helps, but on the other hand, gear is useless if you don't play your character right.
And specially in the case you mention, warlocks will always rock, if you use your dots right, your sacrifice, and your other skills, and specially a hunter, who is the least equipment dependant of all classes. A Tier 0 hunter, that uses his freezing traps, concussive shots, Viper sting on spell casters, and kite well, will have a greater chance of success.
But I think it all comes down to your PvP skills, and your knowledge of each class' advantages. Knowing about the class of your opponent definitely helps too
10k honor points are posibble lol on weekend days.... btw u only need todo alot of bg to get good gear nt tier sets... and the skills defenetly has alot todo with the player.. i have killed alt tier1-3 hunter i em tier 0 in 1v1 cmbats and more....

As i said in the other rogue/shammy post. frost mages can own almost anything they only have a big problem with locks and hunters due to the pets that cut their casting down even further, sure fire mages dont have as big a problem with casting time due to the one talent but they arent good crowd control because they cant hold up many things in place and spells like pyroblast take forrever to cast, polymorph is always a good spell to do in a group which just makes frost mages own even more, and to the subject of hunters and locks, to me hunter would beat a lock becuase hunter doesnt really have a cast time and can cut down the lock's casting time and can basically beat the snot out of the other casters too due to the pet attacking and the hunter himself, only pallys/warriors/rogues have a decent chance against the hunter but again it depends on the pet your using and the stratetgy it goes with, me i prefer a monster who will tank while u spec marks. and shoot the monster to death with your bow or gun. but thats just me.
I rolled a rouge. lvl 10 now, yea i hear alot they own in pvp, i havent done any pvp with my rouge yet, but pve seems harder for rouges? My priest and warlock can easy take 4-5 lvls over, but my rouge can barely take a lvl 12 npc at lvl 10....
Mage > everything. if you can play a mage with skill you will not lose. Warriors are easy, if u know a rogue is around, they r easy. the only classes i have problems with are locks and shammies. but i dont lose everytime, its about an even kill to death ratio.
I would say rogue. cuz if you are 1v1 you have the advantage of being in stelth. so we say you start attacking with like ambush and then just att like a crazy man xD then you should win
Warlock. They got it all, if correctly played they are unbeatable
I would have to agree, as for the people saying that rogues are the best 1v1, I guess they just have only played noob warlocks. I have played with the best pvpers on many different servers, and there is no class that can beat my warlock more consistently than say one duel out of 10 or 15 (lucky crit strings happen). And for those of you that say that duels aren't real pvp, my lock never dies in 1v1 in the world or the BGs. Warlock is an easy class to be decent at, as is warrior or BM hunter, but to make any class unbeatable you have to be damn good.
This is rather indepth, try different ones, see what you like, I know at 19 though, that warlocks do rather well at BG, especcialy agaisnst something that has to get close to them.
If you're talking about 1v1 then a soul link warlock is the best pvper assuming equal gear and skill. However pvp in WoW is now more about the arenas than anything, they just provide better rewards. And the paladin is definitely the most useful class in the arena. It's extremely rare to see a top 5v5 team without one.
A paladin is either the absolute WORST in BGs/Arena or by far the best, this depends on whether you decide to realize your classes potential or not. If you want to do damage while wearing plate armor then roll a warrior, don't roll a pally to equip some 2h weapon and pretend to dps.
A paladin is a force multiplier not a warrior with a mana bar, fortunately nowadays the Horde have to deal with the Retnoob virus as well but the Alliance is still cursed with them.
someone said warlock... ye for 2on2 arena its nice, or duels.
for world pvp, rogue. you can always pick your fight, so with any small amount of skill you should basically never lose. the guy who said "warlocks pwn rogue unless you are a n00b lolZ" is talking about duels obviously, or he's a complete reet.

Wrong forum,
but 1v1 a soul link warlock pretty much owns
and in group, a marks hunter will do a fairly high dose of damage before being taken down

//Xesc
you can be in a bg the whole day with a sucky group and make that much points
nothing to be proud of tbh.
warlock indeed is a powerfull tool. but prefer a well geared warrior or frost mage.
and you need to know the class you are playing + maybe the race (undead = will of the forsaken etc.)
so for me there is no best class to play. just the one that fits you and the player playing his char.
you have to try each class to find out what's best for you.

ill go for hunter.....
Rogues are WoWs Assasins, they own every class...
Theres just one thing about rogue...
A Rogue is a hard class to play if your not skilled....
if your a skilled rogue player you own all... but not everyone is, thats why u dont see all good rogues
But if your skilled you should roll a Rogue, i got a lvl 70 rogue and 60 Hunter
A Hunter is easyer to lvl.... but Rogue owns in PvP
Warlock. They got it all, if correctly played they are unbeatable
WoW addict.
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

I swear, that Orphanage ATTACKED me! --Richard
Rogues HANDS DOWN!
they are the ganking masters of wow
once they get u....
your pretty much dead...
if it was 5v5 then no rogues would suck
and mage would win if theres a 5v5

for 5on5 arena, definately warrior or paladin.
