Your station account does not currently have a Vanguard subscripiton

Alright, well this is the error I am getting when I try to login. Is anyone else on the east coast experiancing this? I have tried re-registering my pre-order box but it says the key was already used. When I go into 'my account' in the launch pad is says

and yet I stll am not able to get on? Can someone please help?

    Same here, shows subscription thats ok, i can't enter my key again, yet I stil can not log on.  Hopefully someone has a fix.  I am east coast too btw.

    The problem is where it says "Account Status: Exempt".  Quite a few have called the support phone number and they are working on it.  Somehow when they were switching things over, some accounts that had used the key already got flagged as 'Exempt', which doesn't allow you to log in.

    I don't think you have to, they know that mostly everyone has the problem and they are working on it.  Someone said they would send an email out to everyone once fixed, although sometimes those emails don't make it.  I just suggest keep checking your account until the status changes.

    I have the same problem and it sucks cause all my friends was able to log in. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it before Im totally left behind.

    So what actually happens? 

    I put in my account key, the key was accepted, then I had two windows sitting there with nothing happening.  I tried clicking "login", that appears below my account name and password and the button was frozen.  I kinda sat there for a few minutes and then I closed the window that held my account key and that fixed the problem as far as being able to login. 

    I'm not implying that this is your problem but it deffinalty confused me to have to close that one window to continue.  I can't be the only one.

    Well, I guess this is a known issue at this point and I hope it gets resolved soon, as of 5:30 EST I still can't in but hey thats murphy's law for ya. The only thing that has changed for me is now I cannot even log into the lauchpad itself. It says "You do not have a Vanguard subscription."

    I know it's early but I really hope this gets fixed ASAP.

    As for "For technical support and account issues please contact SOE Support at http://support.station.sony.com " - I've never seen so slow loading time on any server before (upto 3 mins), gotten so many server errors (well at least I know they use Apache), been told to log in again and again (even though I've ticked save username and password), been misdirected (been sent to Matrix online when clicking Vanguard), have had to retype my userinfo (everytime I asked for a support chat session or support email it reset my mail address to 1667289199 or simular.

    Glad someone else was able to find it or knew where to look.

    Now its just to wait for them to get the fix done /sigh

    Yea, it does indeed suck. I am curious, is this only an issue with people who have had pre-open beta access, as well as having pre-ordered? My bro, who just bought the pre-order and did not get into eariier versions of beta, is having a wonderful time playing and he is not letting me hear the end of it ><

    I didn't play beta.

    When I registered it was for beta acces though, it claimed that if it was for preorder I could just ignore it and carry on. Registered, made billing info and all that and finally logged onto character select where I was told the servers were down. So I logged out.

    Next time I logged in it patched again and then the problems started. When I try to register now it not for beta so seems like the problem might have something to do with that.

    I have been in the beta since juneish or beta 3. Preordered about a month ago, registered the key under my station pass account. Tried to sign in an hour ago and can't even get past the sign in screen just says I don't have access to Vanguard need to order a key. Tried to reenter my beta key..has already been used blah blah blah..guess I do have use for that LoTR stress test key after all sigh.

    Woot..good news, just tried signing in again and now I am downloading the patch..so l ooks like they are fixing or fixed the problem yay.

    I still can't, I already downloaded the patch with the beta build but it doesn;t let me play. :(

    Mine is exempt it says.. =(

    Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs.

    Im glad that some of you made it and now are able to play.

    I still cant get on and I cant even acces my subscription info. All Im able to see is that I have a running subscription on Vanguard which I off course havent since I cant log on.

    I saw some of you mention a patch that took care of the problem? I havent recieved any patches since yesterday so I wonder what it is you've gotten.
