in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Im download the patches and stuff with the beta.. holy crap all day long man, would it be easier if i just downloaded the retail box version or will it work with the cd that come with it when youbuy the game itself?

    I know what you mean... I've been downloading all day and now I guess I'll be downloading all night as well...

    I connected yesterday and downloaded most of the updates then.  This morning while I was waiting for the servers to come up, a few more megs downloaded, but by the time the servers were up, i was all up-to-date.

     

    My main complaint was that the login server was swamped!  Once I got in, there were no crashes and only a little lag (less than I expected on launch day).  However, when I logged out my first character to try another one, the login server wasn't connecting to the world servers, so I couldn't get back in (the patch notice said all the server were up).
