Best class for Solo

Hey i'm really getting excited about Vanguard but none of my freinds play MMO's so i don't always want to be waiting around trying to find people to go out adventure with so i am thinking i will be doing alot of soloing first intill i get into a good guild so does anyone know what race/class's will be the best for soloing

Thanks

    pally is also good.

the problem is not really the classes, it's that even "simple" spawns are rare, and you should try to group with people around you, which makes it much faster. What I don't get is, why people, upon asking, even begging, would rather camp for 30 minutes and solo, instead of grouping and having it done after 5 or 10....

    Druid, necro are good

Pally can get very slow to solo, he is in no way that powerfull as in wow as soloer.

Good joice at time is deciple and necro, also shamans with dps pet seem good soloer.

Cleric can survive but also slow..

Bard got a good variety of bufs and dmg but isnt realy beginner friendly

I swear this person asked what was solo friendly.  Not what sucked.  So I'll go with Sorc.  Works good for me.

Sorc is awesome - bard isnt bad either for solo. Bard is a perfect utility class able to solo just fine and able to really aid any group he is in. Sorcerer of course is pure pWnage dmg wise - targets die long before they get a chance to get into melee range

My Blood Mage so far as been easy to solo with.  Plenty of ways to regain health while at the same time taking way from a mobs health.  Lots of Dots so you can train mobs along and let the dots do the dirty work.

Druid as mentioned are nice too.  Nice damaging roots and even a HoT spell or two.

My Sorc fairs solo pretty well but I don't think she is quite as soloable as my Druid and Blood Mage.

Also the Psionicist with their crowd control are nice.

I only played my Sorc to level 5...so can't really say much other than my druid (now level 10) seems easier to solo with.  Mostly because he has a good, damaging root,  a couple of hots, an instant slow spell, (great for escaping pesky adds) and a nice instant fire spell for quick finishes... Speaking of finishing moves, I just got a "finishing" spell that delivers 1200 -1600 in damage..which is huge at my level....

But like someone said... you will want to group... a lesson I stubbornly resisted yesterday until I had it beat out of me with countless deaths and running around trying to find soloable mobs... trust me on this...a same-level mob isn't always soloable, no matter what your class is.... (watch the dots....they are very important)

Disciple is a solid choice at this time.  Can get a bit slow in higher levels, but thats really based on equipment.

this thread is proof there arent enough people playing shamans yet..

oh well..expect this to change within the next week when people begin to see how much they dominate past level 15

some of their pets alone can out DP paladins and dread knights, forget about the shamans buffs and heals..  very self sufficient.. extremely deadly in PvP also

well playing a Disc now, lvl 12 and his dmg output blows hands down - using best blue equipment I could get from questing. I played a Monk in beta and my Disc is doing about 30% of what the Monk was capable of. Overall pretty depressing.

On a different note - I watched a DreadKnight pwn stuff faster than a Sorcerer did...
