    I suspect that generally, you write a well-formatted, well-spoken post that has value to the community.  You use capital letters as appropriate, you use paragraphs, punctuation, etc.

    And you catch the interest of a mod.

    Who am I?
    @Lorechaser on CoH
    Badjuju, Splinterhoof, Plainsrunner on WoW (Moonrunner)
    Shyy'rissk on SWG (Flurry)
    ClockworkSoldier, HE Pierce, Letnev on Planetside
    Gyshe, Crucible, Terrakal on DDO
    And many more.

    A good way to start would be to update your post with details about your project

    these might include: sample survey questions, whether the project has a bias or not, what you hope to accomplish with the data you gather, and anything else you can think of.

    A lot of us are hesitant to click on links hosted by free providers for obvious reasons, a well thought out and detailed post alleviates some of these concerns.

    Littlerebel - 60 Hunter || Albie - 60 Shaman

    Ok then, looks like I'll have to do some more posting. I guess i never really thought about people wouldnt click on the link as its on a free hoasting site. Thats a pain. All the information about its on the website, so i guess i could copy n past it so everyone could read it. The problem with that is people will take one look at a big paragraph and not read it. I guess I can try. I'll make another post now with the information copied and pasted.

    It's a freewebsite as i dont have a budget to buy a URL or space for my media project.

    Relequestual,

    We understand it's annoying and are sorry :)

    There are a lot of people who see a populated forum and post links hosted by a free provider that include keyloggers in an attempt to get our game logins and steal accounts... or just malicious people who want to spread a virus, or grandma's that want to shoot bottlerockets at our cats, I don't know.. :)

    You don't have to paste everything, just some key points in a logical and readable manner.

    This is nothing against you, but when a free-hosted link comes from an account with only 3 forum posts, it could also be a sign that the account was created with malicious intent. It's much easier to trust someone with a good rating and a quality amount of posts.

    that being said, good ratings don't come about by posting crap everywhere you can :) (at least I assume not... is there somewhere that explains the star system? :))

    Hope this helps.
