I think there is a great, great need for a MMOFPS. I used to play the game "Planetside" 2 years ago. I was Battle Rank 20 and Command Rank 4. I really loved the game, it was the only real MMOFPS that I enjoyed, you could be the lowest level and still be a threat to the highest level. The game really relied on skills and TACTICS with your outfit.
Now, an MMOFPS does not need to be like planetside. Even introducing something with a gamestyle like counter-strike on massive world server would be great, it dosen't need skills, levels, currency, or anything just a game built like counter-strike but on a massive world server. I think the idea would be great, and im suprised no company has taken up on it. MMOFPS can attract both crowds, FPS and RPG fans which are truely ripped apart from each other.
I know im rambling but I hope you get the idea of the this post, there is a great need for MMOFPS.

You pretty much got owned there Spathotan. I'm sorry, but I've seen more mediocre MMORPGs in the last year, than I have MMOFPS.
Huxley and Tabula Rasa look like your best bet. Huxley is going to be mindless, Tabula Rasa the intelligent shooter. Whichever is your bag of tricks, take your pick.
Agreed, 2006 royally sucked for PC games. But I've always been a Planetside fan, so an MMOFPS reaaaally catches my attention right now. As long as they don't overdue the game and make the playing choppy/twitchy/laggy. Have to wait and see of course, but Huxley is looking pretty good right now.
